Thank you it is really nice here 😊😊 I won't speak about the prices but we know the land about relatives and yea family comes from nearby, the neighbors are super friendly. To your other question, we will build our house by ourselves, so we won't have a company who construct the house. We all do it by ourselves and maybe with help from family if needed.

My plan which I'm now in the US working toward is to find land in SE Asia to create a little bit of farm, mostly a Japanese style garden and Cana gardens. The land I will look for will have running water so I can create a small hydroelectric generator. I did this in northern California and it was very useful and produced a product more valuable than I could have with crops or animals. Land with flowing water is a bit hard to find in the US, but pretty easy in SE Asia and it sells fairly cheap.
Looking forward to the adventure. I also remodel houses in the US and have some strange ideas for house design that I would be allowed to build in SE Asia that wouldn't be allowed in the US.

Also able to raise animals on farm... @🇹🇼water lily sorry to hear your story with my fellow countrymen. As a foreigner, you can buy and own a condo unit even if you're single. There are lots of foreigners here in the Philippines that own a condominium (example well known RUclipsrs that are based here in the Philippines especially in Metro Manila). In what I understand, if a foreigner owns a condo unit here in the Philippines does not mean he/she also owns the land where the condominium was situated. So, it's safe to own a condo unit. If you're in doubt, it's best to consult your embassy, and this applies to all foreign nationals. Or it is also best to consult a lawyer before buying any properties and this applies to all foreign and native to this country.

Water Lilly sorry to hear about your past predicament but yes beware it's only natural to do so my exwife is of Chinese decent here in the state I got nothing after divorced it's not specific to people's general back ground it can happen to any one unfortunately. But I can say that most likely your Filipino ex is not raised from good honorable upbringing so did my second ex but you must chose a Filipino with honor and humility where they would rather die of poverty then to take food from anyone which a lot of Filipinos are proud to be I myself would rather die trying my best than to steal from someone but of course that was a result of my upbringing good family as an example my grandfather would roll up his well ironed slack pants with crease and take off his shiny shoes and socks to join his workers from the mud of the rice field and check on the rice plants my relatives however thinks so differently otherwise but as my late grandfather says his word is as good as gold and stamp it with blood and honor this kind of values of a character of men is what you want to see it is however becoming rare to millennials.
