Unprecedented event in the world of martial arts. Team Combat show that has no analogues in the world.
The championship was attended by 8 teams from all over the Russian Federation. The fights were held in one night according to the Olympic system where the losing team is eliminated and the winning team goes to the next round. Team that won the championship got the opportunity to represent Russia in the world championship which will be held in 2020.

Nikotenko was an absolute monster. Being able to take all that beating and only be taken out because they want him fresh for the Semis. Iron Man and MVP for sure. Also, the concept of this tournament is very interesting 4v4 1 at a time combat. Would definitely watch it again.

They could have the ref in the ring if they'd remove the other fighters needlessly standing there.
No he wouldn't have good viewing angles from behind and the sides are really to narrow for a third guy to be jumping around.
They want to keep the fighters in the ring after their equipment has been checked so no foul play can happen.

That was fun. This is a virtually identical concept to that of "Quintet Ultra" in the submission grappling world, with the exception that in Quintet, a 'draw' results in both fighters being eliminated.
True. I think this "team vs. team" elimination format is the key to producing exciting fights where everyone puts everything on the line.

The teammates shouldn’t stand in the ring while they fight. A separate section should be built onto the ring for them to stand on.
My instant reaction is like eveyone elses.. "well that's not very fair that you're just gonna instantly throw a fresh boxer at a boxer that just survived a war to win"..but then you realize that this is boxing people, you gotta pace yourself, cover up and throw combos in stages.. nick showed great resolve of being able to realize what the rules are and what to expect considering this was the first one ever.. very impressive .. ill be back to watch some more of this new league

Should have the fighters in each side locked in a cage, aesthetic wise and so they're not wondering about during the fights
They were moving out of the way of the action. Gives the fighters more room. Locked in cages seems far more wwe.
@@bigbossignition have the cages outside of the ring with a door leading to the ring, the fighting area doesnt change just puts them outside of it, doesnt even have to be a cage just a platform so it's a little less unorganized looking. Also there could be a platform for the ref on the outside of the ring to walk around on, just little things that I think would make it look a little more organized but this shit was awesome

Whoever designed the shape of the ring is genius.
This wont go anywhere if you dont get those rules down. The refs didnt see everything there should be 4 refs per fight one at every corner to see it all. Get the other fighters out of the ring that's just ignorant and doesnt make sense. Then make sure the rules are a little more clear for fighters.
