I would say 100% when your wanting better gear always choose stats over power. For weapons you wanna look at damage stat crit/crit damage or elemental effect buildup and conditional stats. Those are whats more important for your damage. Suit seems to be same so focus on the stats over power.

For example I have blueprint for armor that says 800 power(aka item level) and when I craft it I got a higher success craft and it became 850 power even though the blueprint said 800. Which will make it roll with higher stats than the 800 power base that it showed. Outside of that it does nothing. It’s just a determined factor on gear or weapon rolls. You can add mods it will increase the power because it’s increasing the stats in some way health defense. Where weapon it will increase crit/crit damage or elemental build up. But it doesn’t increase the base damage of a weapon.

Yeah the mods hide the true stats ofall gear I found I had to remove them to compare gear to get true comparison rather annoying. Im unlocking all momentum skills at moment before NG+. Keep in mind the gear you want is to enhance your build for example on my red hood I went elemental and melee which is good, joined a coop another hood he had ranged crit and we just wrecked everything just the way it should be.
This is one of my biggest complaints about this game. This whole time I’ve been thinking power was overall stats- instead now I know why enemies are so much stronger than what they should be. Thanks!
Actually you do not need power to scale with enemies, its the actual stats on the gear. You can run a low power but great stat item and it will be FAR BETTER than a high power item with trash stats. Power is an arbitrary stat and even at lv 40 you should not be using it. Only focus the actual stats not power
So with most of my suits, the highest power is like 40 something because I’m waiting for my friend to get really far into the story, but I have one shoot that’s a 96 power. Um… I think I can stick with that one for now.

WB Montreal did great work when they had to copy Rocksteady's Arkham City when they made Arkham Origins, but it's clear, they're quite good at imitation and not so shit hot at innovation. I think what happened was everyone complained about games being to easy and holding your hand and eventually they tried to hold our hands less and it came to this point. The thing I hate with this game is that you have to equip new suits and keep the stupid appearance. Like I want all my Knights to have their default look but if you want to equip more powerful suits you have to keep their appearance. Yes you have transmogs but they come with one color and you can't customize them. I don't want one hero to look like a samurai , one to look like a robot etc etc . They REALLY need to add a proper Transmog system to this game. Unless I'm missing something here ?
If your gear has mod slots you can equip mods to it. Its been a while but i believe you just go to the mods tab in the menu. (You can see the mods tab listed while under the gear tab) Then click the mod you want to equip! Let me know if you have other questions
I honestly dont know what power is for or what it does could just be a indicator that a weapon will drop with higher stats mods etc.. but ive tested it where i took a pistol used same enemy so i knew there was no variation in enemy type. base power was 366 with 50 base damage. it does 97 non crit and 155 crit for just light attacks. I then added 3 mods to it and it jumped to 1350 power base damage still said 50 and I shot same enemy type and it still did 97 non crit and 155 crit. No damage change even though weapon went from 366 power to 1350 power... SO my guess would be its just the Item level. Which would make it drop with higher stats. Ive tried many different variations to and none seem to boost the damage even when power goes up!!

You sort of missed a big point… play what your character has SKILLS for Batwoman is definitely a critical fighter over elemental, robin has a lot of synchronization with elements also Nightwing
I think you can select a specifc suit to be your cosmetic actually! So you can still look how you want with the gear that is better! I did notice it had less customizable options when you do the preset though!
I don't understand the power stat. The Owlbuster suits you get have high power but the defense on it is super low and I always end up dying all the time with that suit on. Only started to click then, but still have no idea what power actually is.
Power is nothing, it is literally an algorithim that seems to multiply rarity with stat to give an unrealistic value of power. Only focus on stats and you are far better off!
Some can even get 4 from what I hear, but the only craft mat you should really be running out of is Nth for Legendary. You can push from 30-40 easily in NG+ without a single upgrade to gear then from there only craft actual good gear. I agree though Nth is a mat you should not waste!
Power means nothin.. as far as mod slots go though I’ve gotten as high as 3 slots, and max level mods are significantly more potent than what you had shown here, the bonuses you can get if you stack 3 mods on one armor piece it’s insane
Well for the beyond set I did find beyond armor at a higher level at some point (maybe it levels with you) but if you like the look of the OG gear just do the transmog. That way you can be in OG no matter what gear you got on!

Unless you have fully upgraded Legendary Items I don't think you are on NG+ status yet. The issue i'm running into is i'm not getting Nth Metal. Which is messing up the Legendary gear.
I’m playing on Steam and I had to add a command to the launch line to force it to run DirectX 11 because it defaults to DX12 and my PC doesn’t like 12. The fix that’s helped me so far is to go to your game settings, and under the launch options you can add additional command lines. You’ll want to add: “ -force-d3d11 “ without the quotation marks, and see if that helps. It made it playable for me after doing nothing but crashing. Hope it helps!

I'm finding the time limits the hardest factor in the game. Noone likes time limits. I'm playing on hard and before you fight Harley and you gotta keep disarming the bombs against her minions literally every second. So annoying.
I'm talking about when Harley traps you in that glass then drops you below and you gotta fight two big guys while a bunch of small guys and bombs going off every second
Oh I know what you mean now, yeah I would just sprint to the bombs tag them then kill what I could before doing the next set of bombs. Just always be ready to stop your attack and run, it takes a while but you will win!
Lightning is the best for me when it comes to Batgirl just because she really is a single unit fighter so it makes it so much easier give me her some form of AOE outside of her batarang assault
@@shimik11 I maxed them out before New game Plus and the upgrade to level 40 Right before I start a new game plus I got lucky and got her some three mod slot legendary tier batarang I'm in my New game Plus level 35 and still use them because I can't find anything better yet and nobody has as good of a long-range as she does yet Dang rgn gods

The issue with this idea is if you dont get non elemental gear your stuck. It would not be that hard and im running non elemental build now, its just harder early on/as you level!
The information telling them to avoid power is still accurate regardless of level. You don't need level 40 to know that and my Legendary Gear guide will be at level 40 (38 currently). Not all videos are designed for the endgame players but hopefully you will appreciate my future videos! :)

They have base gear sets you can use for your look, but you can only customize the look if its the individual pieces you collect :( Kinda annoying tbh

Some suits can get 3 slots man and end game gear you will run out of craft mats

Power is not even base stats, its rarity aswell. IT DOES NOTHING! Focus on the actual stats regardless of rarity!

Hate the game already. Slow as fuck. Multiple enemies when trying to complete missions. Truly hate this fucking game
Sucks you arent enjoying the game, I noticed most enemies go down rather quick if you gear up well, but it can be rough at times I agree!

You could fuse the mods. That way it's a bigger difference.
Even when I fuse mods they don't really give me anything good! Seems to work better at 30/40 compared to lower levels!

Very fair! I get her AOE from her slam move most of the time, but that does sound really useful!
