would be so much better with some production to improve the clarity of the vocals and music. It's sad that they feel that they must bury their instrumentation under a wet rag and hide the vocals low in the mix (especially when the vocals aren't even inept).
@@Johncopperboots there is admittedly a recognizable low-fi style going on, but it's already a dated sort and imo holding the band back from really shining since the structural bones and individual elements are good.
Yeeeah, the processing influenced the vocals and gave them a vibe of the generic, synthetic voice. However, with our experimental process we managed to preserve the most of the value from the original recordings and minimize the artifacts.
Yeah, it's not a secret that we use AI-processing for mastering and tuning purposes. It leaves audible artifacts, but still sounds much better than straight from DAW. Besides they're composed and recorded the old way :)
