Many updates to talents, Scarlet Monastery is being reworked into a 40 man raid, they added the Azshara Crater battle ground.. many others things and more to come. Hope you check it out

Honestly I played a bit in 06 and life sucked me away only got to lvl 45 or 46 ish and now am just now re playing it and honestly the nostalgia is insane definitely falling in love with it all over again
I know yall remember Advertise.. He was the perfect villain story-arc that Asmon needed to divert from the hypercringe Olympus implosion. Asmon reporting and getting him banned was the beginning of the end

Too bad I will never be able to relive this again, because now everyone has 60 level mains and they just pour money/bags to their alts and buy dungeon boosts instead of properly questing. I have 4 different 60 level characters and I would gladly abandon them if Blizzard released more FRESH servers. The struggle from 1 to 60 is what makes this game great.

I played classic with the sole purpose to get to 60 only. I ended up in a guild and met some pretty good dudes and stuck with it to the end. We ended up clearing all the raids and I had some of the best gaming times of my life. I’m older now in my mid 30s and can honestly say that downing KT is a rare gaming moment for me that got me pumping my fists with excitement. The charm of wow combined with community of players creates an atmosphere that’s hard to match. Will be some of my fondest memories

Didn’t get disconnected for three days straight when I got my Ret Paladin to 34 in one sitting. Needed sleep after that and got stuck in a bit bad if a queue, 23k might seem big but it only took me and 1 and 1/2 hour to get back in.
I wish I had friends who were interested and committed to wow :/ I wanna relive my good days by playing wow again but not having my friends with me puts me off
And now a little over a year later I'm sitting here watching this video while my sweaty rogue in T2.5 is waiting for an Ony head to drop and praying every week for a Death's Sting to drop off C'thun.
It took me like 9 days 11 hours 53 minutes and 10 seconds over the course of 3 weeks. I got ganked to hell and back in the Shimmering Flats at 30 because STVietnam is too brutal for a 30:70 server as Alliance. Desolace was calm and peaceful. Rest of 35-60 wasn't too eventful on Stalagg, just the usual drive-by ganks. I got up early like 8am to skip the queue for most of the days.
I wish I could just wake up and play video games till I fall asleep... I used to. But I became insanely health conscious because of brain cancer in 2016. Love you Asmon. Thanks for your content brother.
It's crazy to think how impactful the relaunch of an old game was. An entirely new and unique experience built off a foundation that was over 15 years old. Not exactly the original, but something cherished and unique in its own way. I look back on the 'classic" era fondly despite it being only 3 years ago. As someone not old enough to have experienced wow's launch firsthand but played many expansions, the feeling of an entire world of mystery and exploration just cant be beat over the expansion meta of a new "zone" of expansion material making the rest of the world obsolete. WoW's open world and play style is an itch i just cant scratch with any other mmo, yet retail leaves much to be desired for me as well. I don't know if anything can bring the feeling the original or classic gave for me until a WoW 2, if there ever is one. Even the idea of WoW Plus isn't really interesting to me unless they make serious changes (like over 25% of the world)
