This is not amateur, this is sub-novice, meaning they have under 2 fights total. Amateur means they have fought atleast 10 times with no cap. This is either their first or second fight ever.

Golden gloves are basically annual competitions for amateur boxers. It’s a pretty big boxing tradition dating since the late 1920s
I thought golden globes was a decent level. These are like amateurs on their debut 😯🙈
