A number of Dragons players have apologised for attending Paul Vaughan's infamous barbeque but was it genuine or just tone deaf - Ray Hadley and the NRL 360 discuss the issue.

Not like they are law enforcement officers being caught using cocaine or other illegal substance like Hadleys son. Hadley cried fowl that him and his family needed to be left alone due to mental health but this old fart will end up killing somebody with his bullying type tactics in the media. By telling other clubs that they shouldn't employ Paul Vaughan is an absolute joke. Hadley needs to held accountable for his actions.

Hadley has really cheapened this show. As much as Buzz Rothfield gets on my nerves, he's at least someone who has the genuine interests of the game at heart. Hadley seems only interested in the sound of his own voice. He'd already decided that he is was going to bag Maguire irrespective of what he said. What Maguire did say was honest and a total admission but that did not register with blowhard Hadley!
I played rugby league and union all over the world. Not at this level, fair enough. But as soon as you start paying people ten or twenty times the amount the average person is earning in Shellharbour, then you have people that live in another world. Their OWN bubble, as just stated. They think they're above the rules. It's not everyone, granted. Steve Menzies would have never have done this, and I bet he'd have something to say to the ones who did. Liverpool FC manager, of years gone by , Bill Shankley, once said of a player he let go ... " professional sport doesn't start with your pay cheque , it starts with your attitude ". He was bang on.
