Am I the only one that whenever I listened to music for animatic, besides drawing thumbnails, I actually acted with my body of how character moves and reacts to feel like the character to understand?
Also I always make sure no one sees me because they might think I have problems haha.
I do that all the time! Whenever I do it, people look at me like I'm weird

I like that you touched on animatics not needing to be super polished and clean when working on the field. Storyboard artist get a lot of work piled onto them including work that was meant for the animator or editor to be doing.
When studios see storyboards that look like polished keyframes they think that has to be the professional standard when storyboarding is more about helping to visualize a film with the most bare bones way of communicating. Not realizing it’s unnecessary and adds a lot more work for the artist for not much more pay if they even get an increase, most times it’s just more work for the same pay.
So I’m glad you touched on that. :)
There are so many talented fanimatic creators on youtube and you are honestly my favorite and have been for some time!! The extra effort to make the final product look pretty might not happen a lot in typical pipelines for televised animation but it really adds an amazing extra layer (art pun intended?) of vibrancy and emotion to each animatic you put out! Thank you so much for all the hard work you do to make these beautiful art-pieces for all us fans to gush over and love, and now for sharing your process with us ^_^

Hi I’m just starting out on making animation and animatics for my channel, I haven’t posted anything yet but I’m working on it in an app called procreate, it helps me with making good drafts with lots of brushes and it does animation and animatics, I really love it as I’m staring out and don’t have much money since I’m only a teen, I’m a little impatient but I love drawing and animation, is there any tips you could give me for not getting bored of the animation I’m working on or what animation apps I can use on an iPad Pro with the ipencil, thank you so much and keep up the amazing work I really enjoy it🤗
try flipaclip, or maybe use procreate to make the drawings
like thumbnail on a piece of paper or whatever, then just draw each frame on procreate then edit it on a editing software
p.s make sure to have alot of breaks!!

If it helps, Flipaclip is better to make easy animatics with, if you wanna make super complicated animations/animatics procreate is better. Its easier to use FlipaClip tho. If you end up using procreate i recommend getting an editing app so you can move the characters easier. In FlipaClip you can add your own sounds which you cannot on procreate but procreate has better brushes and so on :) ur choice!
And then there's me, who uses paint tool sai and draws frame after frame :')
I learned a lot since i've been starting and i'm happy with the result of my very first "decent" animatic.

Thank you for making this video. I may start making my own animatics one day. I'd especially love to use the Toon Boom Storyboard Pro app. 3D features are really something I have a time with in art.
I have such an issue planning shots, I’ve given up on countless animatics cause if struggling to visualize things ahaha. I’ve been carefully writing out the shots recently so that I can visualize it easily and it helps quiet a bit. Maybe I’m more leftbrained then I thought :)

Im learning to do animatics although I can’t afford adobe but did get Procreate Dreams to make my short animatics instead I don’t have to pay a trial on it and I can make fun short fan animatics with it without having to pay as much

Unsure but id say becareful with music choices and look up other animatics with the song u are thinking of. If some show up then ur good. Things like Disney and such are alot harder to work with tho
