I've a red one with a Milltek exhaust to just give it a voice. It's probably the most fun car I've ever had, and I'm 62. Makes me grin everytime i see it and drive it. Superb little car .
Make sure the internal fake noise is cancelled as the engine sounds pretty good without the help. I fitted strut brace that made front end feel more direct. Happy driving
@ They did not come as standard with strut brace. Also worth checking are the mud flaps made by rallyflapZ British company really great quality without breaking the bank.
Shame you didn’t get this weekends sunny weather as you could see for miles on the Ashdown Forest…! 😎☀️❄️ Oh and some sound of course! 🔇😅 I can remember when those Carrera GT’s first came out and there was regularly one outside The Hare in Langton, hopefully the owner never had one too many! 🍻😇🙏
I dont think you’d get it back under warranty. I expect the ecu would give some obvious signs to toyota that it had been tampered with or will have logged some values a standard car wont hit, such as max boost pressure
ECUs are not like aircraft "black boxes" that are for data acquisition.. They save the last fault codes which is also easily cleared. Whether there is a date stamp, I don't know.
@ my exige v6 had locked in all sorts of stats, max rpm (shows if you have mechanically over rev’d it with a money shift), total time at max throttle and a host more. Lotus gave me the print out at the time. All locked in to the ecu.
Those GR Yaris are real quick A Fantastic car from Toyota Went to the B road stag pub (Richard look this place up it’s amazing place for petrol heads) 6 or 7 of us in convoy someone had a GR Yaris my god was absolutely blown away how quick they are on the B roads. We were in a BMW E 46 M3 and that is a fantastic car
Lee from EvilGT has some great content on his yaris adventures, might be worth checking it out & who knows maybe a co-lab between you both or other youtubers?

I'm 62 in May with a white one and a milltek non res, and its nearly as much fun as my Mk1 Escort !
My old car, it don’t need anything. The last remap I did is all you need. Just needs to be enjoyed like I did
Brilliant, its drives well so far although low speed bump I would soften for my roads. Looking forward to next few months

Thanks Tony, I will check, it has a carbon strut brace not sure if thats standard

I have been looking for the mudflaps adds to the rally look!
Looked great when I saw the GR today as you drove it.
Looks so good, It was Harrison driving as I was in the x5

Nice, still holding their value quite well too….. looking forward with interest to your GR owning journey
Thank you, shame I lost the sound at the end but lots of driving videos coming soon.
They will hold ther value with the new one being a huge amount more to buy
@@Challengetheroad I would like to have a go in the predecessor, GRMN Yaris - I know it’s only FWD, but the rarity and having a supercharger appeals

I will take a look
You need to learn sign language by the look of it. 😂
I think so - 5 mins lost 🤣 I thought there’s no sound damn!
