How do you get the plug wire back on on the number 4 bottom
What tools did you use remove the 4th plug?
On some engine models, a combination of a ratchet extension and a swivel placed near the socket may be necessary.
Exactly, I wanted to see how he put the 4th one back in. I got it out and struggled for 2 hours trying to get it back in. I gave up for the day.
@@phillabrie8699I ended up using a 3” extension with the spark plug socket to get it started by hand. I then switched the 3” for 1.5” extension to tighten.
Interesting how he neglected to mention that wonderful 4th plug. It's very difficult to get sockets in there to remove & replace. I'd like to know how Mercury recommends the replacement.
I use a universal joint for the socket wrench for the #4 plug. I wanted to see this guy put the boot back on the #4 plug. I'm having a hell of time getting mine back on.

Everything looks fine until you try to replace the fourth plug which is in an awkward place . Part of the lower cover of the 2019, 150pro XL prevents you from reaching that plug directly. Show us how that is done please without being a contortionist.
Not a good video. The 4th plug is impossible with normal tools. This guy shows us what everyone already knows but explicitly ignores the only information that would have been useful. How to remove and replace the 4th plug.
