Great advice, we were trained first aid in junior school, my mate 25 years later actually performed CPR on his wife after her heart stopped, saved her life.👍🏻

Spot on advice ! My initial first aid training was in the Junior Boy's Brigade. Primary school aged. Since then I have never been out of date in first aid training, whether basic FAW, MIRA, FREC or Patrol Medic. It is, without doubt, the most used skill I've learned. Hundreds of practical applications over the years. Mostly niff naff and trivia but on occasion life saving.
If you are first aid trained, at any level, you are worth your weight in gold.

Good stuff mate. I was gonna joke with:
"Always be a scottish ex bootneck with a huge beard and you'll be fine in any situation" haha
But what you said is so important. I do hear good things about "first in events" as you said 👍
The number of people I assumed had first aid training that haven't, actually shocked me and was quite worrying really. I used to think most around me knew the basics, but they don't at all. Can they even call themselves adults?
