Awesome video Kyle, so glad I found you guys last year. I have a good problem, help...10 team, full ppr, I've got the third pick. My 2 keepers are Kamara and Chubb. The big "3" will be there, so do you like McCaffrey/Keenan Allen-ish or Davonte Adams/K. Allen??? McCaffrey seems no brainer, but the other way feels more balanced???
This is tough... I really dont think you can pass on CMC though... CMC, Kamara and Chubb is a crazy first 3 picks and you can still finish is off with solid WRs
I have pick 8 in my PPR league. I intend to land one of Adams/Hopkins/Julio and follow with another receiver. Juju/kelce in the 2nd. It’s contradictory to your advice, but those second tier of RBs don’t wow me. Scared of several of them. What do you think?
I’d rather take a chance on guys like Kerryon, Aaron Jones if he falls, Devonta Freeman as my RB 1 with two stud WR1s. James White and Kenyan drake as PPR RB2s
I just couldn't pass on RBs that early.... I could maybe go 1WR and 1RB but that's it... Players breakout every year that paper didn't like the year before... Just gotta be ahead of the curve
One of the only things I extremely disagree with is not drafting a great def/sp teams. Dude, they literally make or break playoff teams. I’d say if you get in an awkward draft spot grab the top 2 and use them in a group trade to fill a gap you missed on earlier.
The Fantasy Headliners idk what to say then. I guess I have that competitive of leagues where the talent is spread out so much that typically the people that make the playoffs have the top 3-5 scoring def/so teams. I’d say it isn’t the absolute rule, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone win in the 7+ years of doing this In over a dozen leagues where someone won with a def that gives them negative points...
I got a horrible pick this year 😭 pick 9 in ppr. Hoping Davante Adams falls and I'll probably have to go WR WR Davante then Odell or something like that and pray I can grab Chubb or kerryon in the 3rd round and Montgomery in the 5th or 6th. My league mates r super unpredictable thought as alot don't rly follow football or prepare all that much before. Any suggestions on what my early round strategy should be? I feel like I could easily grab mid round WRs that were no-names last year like a Christian Kirk, Dante Pettis or Chris Godwin so I want to go RB early but it seems like that'll be impossible.
This year in my 12 team ppr, if I draft 8th or later I might end up drafting 4 WR in the first 4 rounds. I can see ending up with 4 top 10 starting every week. Then I just draft 8 running backs with high potential.
That’s a tough strategy to carry out and rely on late round RBs. You really have to hope for some type of injury to get the type of production necessary.
@@TheFantasyHeadliners I agree it is a tough strategy. I wouldn't force it, but if everyone is forcing the running backs I might zig when they zag. You can end up with Michael Thomas, Juju, AJ Green, and Brandon Cooks (or perhaps Tyreek Hill). It works in full point ppr with 3 wr and a flex. I wouldn't do it in standard. I did this once a few years back, and made it to the playoffs before crazy injuries took me out. There is something satisfying about trotting out four stud receivers every week.

Kyle!! Hope things are good with you man. Early draft pick question... OBJ or Kelce with the 2.04 pick? I got D. Hop with the 1.09. Should I consider a top RB at that spot? Suggestions? Also, do you feel Cooks is a steal 4.04? After D. Hop, OBJ, and Mack?

Kyle...in a 12 team keeper PPR league, my keepers are Melvin Gordon, Gurley, and JuJu. I dont have a pick until #2 in the 2nd round (14 overall)....and then I dont pick until our 4th round. Since we keep 3, our 1st round is technically a 4th round. SO my question is...do I snag Darrell Henderson with my first pick? I feel backed into a corner with Gurley...my only other option would be to keep Mahomes and drop Gurley. So yeah...what do you think?
First, great video. You guys have a great perspective, likeable personalities, and professional production. Love it. My one gripe is your advice on OJ Howard, Evan Engram, and Hunter Henry. Everyone knows they're TE 4-7, their ADP says so. It's no secret, even in taco leagues. I think you're spot on with your valuation of Vance McDonald though. Thanks for all the great content!
Thanks for watching Sean! The main reason I bring them up is because I think you get close value from those guys to the big 3 TEs in 2019. So I would rather wait a few rounds and grab one of them than spend a top three round pick on one of the other guys.
I'm in a 2qb league 2rb 3wr flex te ... I think the best thing to do is take qbs late... I just got the 6th pick so I'm guaranteed one of the top 5 rbs... bcuz i know for sure my qb happy league will pick at least 1 if not 2 or 3 qbs before my 6th pick. I'm going qbs late
You can tell Kyle been working harder this season more than ever. That beard gets slightly grayer every video. Lol. But in all truth your hard work is super appreciated bro. Love u guys. #NeverFunCrab
I’m in a 14 team .5 point ppr. If I end up with pick 10-14 I think I am going to go Kelce in round 1 and rb in round 2. I think having Kelce in a 14 team league will be a huge positional advantage most weeks. What are your thoughts?
How do you feel about the whole Damien Williams and Carlos Hyde situation you think Williams will lose touches to where I shouldn’t draft him cause I’m looking at Williams but kind of hesitant because of the shares of touches that he might get because of Hyde
Not completely sold on Williams. I know coach speak is good right now, but I just can’t buy him at his current ADP. Thompson has a shot to really carve out a role

Thank u so much!!!! You’re one of the best!
Thanks!
I agree. Although, I think if Barkley falls there, then I may go wide receiver
I have to admit, I’ve never seen a D/ST be the deciding factor for anyone in a season. I would be shocked.
Any draft is a great draft
Any fantasy football is great fantasy football!
hi man i ned your help
i have a daft in 30 mins
This was one of your best video's Kyle !! I love the draft strategy and not drafting a kicker or defense, I'll definitely be doing that this year.
Thanks Jason!
This video was a huge help!!! I really appreciate.
Congratz on 33k
Thank you!
Great info. Keep these great videos coming 👌
Thank you!
Good morning Kyle. Great video showing more on the draft guide. Waiting to see if I some how get lucky on draft guide before I make the purchase.
Hey Jake, if we pick you to win a draft guide and you already bought one, we will refund your purchase! So either way, feel free to get one now if you want, because you’ll still get it for free if you are selected.
@@TheFantasyHeadliners crazy how great you all are at responding to your commenters. You all are on your A++ game. For sure my most watched subscribed channel!
Great vid Kyle! Love this stuff!
Thanks, Brian!
Anybody drafting with the 10th pick in a 12 team league if so what are your mocks looking like ?
One of the previous mocks we did was from 10 I believe. But if you purchase our draft guide, I wrote an entire section called the perfect draft. Walks you through a draft from each of the 12 draft positions. Only $19.99 for almost 500 pages of information.
If I picked a wide receiver in the first round would you say Dalvin cook is a RB1
When I have a top 5 pick in mocks, I gobble up all the RBs with my first 4 picks! So much value at WR and QB.
Great strategy!
Awesome man I'm super hyped for the draft this year. I feel I have the upper hand with you guys in my corner.
Fantasy Headliners handing out words of wisdom. Nice vid. Kyle keep it up.
Thanks!
I've been more satisfied with my mocks when i go and get MY guys, rather than focusing purely on value
100% agree with you!
I go in to our live draft with one strategy. Get the players I want! I mean, I definitely use a value system but if I know they won't be there?! I grab him.
Rey Haze You’re always going to like your team right after the draft if you’re picking your favorite players. The question becomes do you draft elite/league winning teams drafting like that?
Last year I focused more on WRs. Had Hop and Hill as my 1 and 2 and Kareem as a workhorse. After losing my championship game because I was missing my RB, I'm definitely going RB heavy early on. Keep it up with the amazing videos!
Thank you for watching!
Who could i get for a sony michel cooper kupp package preferably a running back
I would gun for an Aaron Jones or Kerryon Johnson
Also, top 4 picks of Adams or Hopkins, OBJ, Chubb or Freeman, and A.Jones is what I’ve consistently gotten. What should I focus on after that?
Round five and six is about getting your TE. Howard or Engram could still be there
The Fantasy Headliners thanks! This is why your the best fantasy channel on youtube!!
I'm pretty high in David njoku, what's your thoughts?
I like him, but his ceiling is limited with all the weapons around him, so hes a back half TE1 for me.
hi what strategy do you recomend for a PPR league??
PPR leagues are all about pass catching backs and WRs with tons of volume. You can skip on TD dependent players for volume players to get nice value
@@TheFantasyHeadliners thank you
12 team league btw
Cooks is an absolute steal! I know people love Kelce, but give me OBJ in round 2 and Engram or Howard later
Do you know any websites that do linear non snake mock drafts?
Victor Ingraham Try the “Sleeper” app, they have that option.
YESSSSSSS!! I've watched all the videos BUT this is THE ONE!!! I've won 1 championship and finished in the top 4 in last 4 seasons by drafting without a strategy. After this advice I'm feeling better about the draft! # team BigInThePants
Thanks for the video!! Keep it up gentlemen!!
Thanks Edgar!
Well the QB rankings didn’t age well
Lol 🤣... You're right.... Everyone but me knew Luck was retiring
this is a brilliant video! thx, Kyle🇳🇿🐢🏈🇳🇿🐢🏈
Thanks Jason!
Yupp. I always go RB’s first two rounds
Love my RB's!
If you keep Mahomes instead of Gurley, does it change where you have picks in the draft?
@@TheFantasyHeadliners no it does not
Getting better at your intros Kyle! Would love to draft against you guys!!!!
Thanks Ryan! Make sure you sign up for DRAFT and use our promo code because we are drafting there every week and you can join in.
Antonio brown 3rd or 4th round? He’s definitely not lasting that long in any league.
Depending on the league format, yes, I’ve seen him pushed into the early third before.
We dont draft till after 3rd preseason. Game . I dont understand leagues that draft early.
I also don't like to draft too early.
@@TheFantasyHeadliners that makes sense!
Awwww man the classic fantasy headliners intro.. You get a like just for that.
Yes!
Kyle gettin better at the video cuts lol. Lovin ur stuff Kyle. Great as always brother.
Thanks my man!
Plug n play the qbs.. stack rb and wr talent... in the 2qb league..
Would you ever consider drafting all RBS with first 3 picks? I did this in a 12 man mock and snagged Kamara Henry and Gurley
Yep, 100% if the cards fell right. I wouldn’t have any issues with that.
Thanks!
Awesome, awesome advice. Thank you again. I rarely draft defense/kickers early, but I like this strategy of taking a flyer on them.
Maybe you should be doing the advice shows! LOL Thx for the support! Love having you in the community!
You can tell Kyle been working harder this season more than ever. That beard gets slightly grayer every video. Lol. But in all truth your hard work is super appreciated bro. Love u guys. #NeverFunCrab
Robert Kaufman 😂😂😂😂
I’m in a 14 team .5 point ppr. If I end up with pick 10-14 I think I am going to go Kelce in round 1 and rb in round 2. I think having Kelce in a 14 team league will be a huge positional advantage most weeks. What are your thoughts?
I don’t run with the early TE strategy, because I believe guys like Henry, Engram and Howard will be much closer this year than they were last year.
How long does it take to get the draft guide I ordered it around the 4th of July , thanks looking forward to seeing it .
Hey Kevin, shoot us an email with you information. It’s immediate so you should have already received it.
Cool video. I appreciate fantasy calculator for the mocks. Was getting bored of Espn and fantasy pros so thank you!
Thanks for watching Brian!
Great video Kyle! Request :can you guys touch on auction draft strategy/values at some point? Thanks
We will try to at some point, yes.
@@TheFantasyHeadliners thanks! Keep up the great content!
The Fantasy Headliners even in a ppr league?
Would value Wideouts more in a .5PPR where you start 3 wideouts and 2 flex? Or still go heavy RB in that kind of a Setting?
Nicholas Van Brunt I still like going RB RB because of the far fewer select RBs available in the league.
I’m still a guy that wants to load up on RBs, especially the ones that can impact the ground and air.
Hey guys! Great work, as usual. But I have a question:
If I buy your rankings, how is that gonna look like? Is it an excel sheet and how do I get notified If something changes until the start of the season as well as during the season?
It’s all in PDF or online. You’ll get a link to drop box and have access to log in through the website. Whenever an update happens, you will get an email notification.
Ok sounds great :) and you provide rankings for all formats I think!?
Can you get a pop filter
it was just an issue on this video - had an audio setting get changed without knowing
Definitely some good advice! I hope the other guys in my league aren’t watching this!
Thanks!
How do you feel about taking Kelce as my third pick if I take two RBs first and second picks. 6 team ppr. 6 team league kinda changes things
Great video. Nice point about Chris Thompson but, this year Washington’s backfield is one of the ones I’m avoiding.
It could be shaky, we’ll have to see how it plays ojt
Solid video i just subbed to the channel good all around advice
Welcome to #HeadlinerNation Steve!
Dude! I love the mini-stadium you have in the background, I want one!! lol
Haha, I’ve had that for a long time
I’m in a keeper league so what’s the best advice going into the draft. The best players I had last year that I’m keeping is CMC and fournette.
Just have to keep the values... Keep the safest options you have
