Yeah the monorail resorts are a bit more squeezed today, especially with that big new Island Tower looming over 😂
I liked it better when there were fewer hotels on property. You had a greater sense of isolation from the outside world that over time I think became lost.

1977 was the year of our family trip so whenever I see that date I just have to watch. So great seeing Treasure Island. I have a pic of me holding the same cockatoo. Wish they'd taken footage inside the Contemporary!!
I wonder if maybe this was a Honeymoon trip (they are wearing wedding rings) and if they are still together in 2024 ? They would be in in their late 60's or early 70's by now if still living.
The jets of water at the 'teen pool' is a detail I had never seen.
