  • Holy Mac is one of the scariest Black Diamond trails that I've been on. It can easily pass as a Double-Black. Perhaps it is. This one has some serious gnarly drops that'll have you pondering on why we do what we do.

Haven't been there in a while. Definitely a challenging trail. There's no shame in walking

Thanks for sharing REAL WORLD mountain biking not manicured perfect flow trails and well tested/pruned tech like most of the content I see!

This was one of my favorites for a little while. Once you get the lines it’s super fun!

The commentary was great! hahaha great job down HM. Gnarly trail for sure. The last drop/huck isn't as scary as it seems. Just gotta make sure you control the angle on the drop in cuz the trail likes to shoot you left right into the rock wall. I know from experience 😂

Nice going on some of those sections! I have yet to try this one and for my first time out, I'd probably prefer to follow someone down who's done it before.

That trail is super steep. It's even harder when you try to roll the whole thing without stopping. Also, broke my shoulder on that last tree drop. It's not that hard, just over send it like I did.

The last part doesn't look as gnarly as the rocky section you cleared at 2:55
What new tire are you getting?

That last part isn't as gnarly looking but it's a steeper, much longer drop with a large rock "strategically" placed to throw you off mentally. And leading into the drop is pretty loose. So if anything it's really a mind game.
As for tire, just replacing existing, which is a Maxxis Minion DRH II
