Udhbhavaha Story

Udhbhavaha, an education-centered community.
This is an initiative of Vidyakshetra Trust, a 4-year old not-for-profit organization. Currently, we are a commune of 34 families, 25 children, with 8 full-time and 11 part-time teachers.
With the intention of providing a holistic education that nurtures the head, heart, and hands, our curriculum includes farming, yoga, handwork, woodwork, Carnatic music, Bharathanatyam, Kalaripayattu, travel and etc., along with regular academic subjects.

This not only helps him learn but also prepares him for life which is the need for today’s education.
With the idea of providing the right education to all deserving children and to not look at this as a consumer vendor relationship, we do not charge a fee and depend on Daan (Donations).
We have children coming from varied economic backgrounds and only some of the expenses are met by the parents. However, for a large part of the running, we rely on donations coming from friends and well-wishers.
We earnestly look forward to your contributions for a cause that is the urgent need of the society. No amount is small for us.
We are a Public Charitable Trust and Donations to the Trust are exempt from Income Tax under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
