    Oddly enuf, my Leo dislikes Waxworms. Having heard they were “junk-food” I’ve never given him any. When he recently reached 7 yrs of age, as a “hatch day” treat, I thot I’d offer him a couple . He gave me a puzzled look, and did eat one, but with obvious disgust. It was actually quite comical! Your vids are very informative. Thank you for caring for all of those little Leo-Angels of your’s, as well as for the general education you offer.

    ❤️ WOW Chocho strikes so fast the wax worm just seemed to vanishe!. Renly is so focused. I love Briennes colouration and she has gorgeous eyes. Viserion is such a handsome devil (He is my favourite). Rhaego has fantastic markings. Ygritte is also beautiful and eye catching . Karsi and Tyrion also have really amazing head patterns. Ahhh Roku looks like so shy at first till He gets that first waxworm taste. YEAY Neville..... Ok Viserion is my favourite of your Leos but Neville is my favourite of all your animal friends ❤️

    Hey hun .. i am rescuing a dalmation crested gecko from craigslist today . He is 2 years old and it is said that he is extremely agressive , biting , alligator death rolling, lunging at his owners and such .. ive done tons of research including watching your channel and others , getting on gecko forums exct. Preparing myself to give this sweety the best life he can have . He is clearly not being taken care of correctly at the home hes in now ... i plan on re-doing a nice enclosure for this baby ... along with changing his food .. and providing more crickets for enrichment , and something for him to take his agression out on . . He is comming home tonight at 7 and any last minute recomendations... or tips before he comes home are much appreciated ... i value your opinion , and greatly apreciate any advice on anything i may have missed.. i have never dealt with an agressive cresty before , but have owned them in the past

I was doing a mix of super worms, meal worms and wax worms and horn worms for my veiled chameleon and now he won’t eat anything but super worms! I wish I could get some dubia roaches even but I only have one place near me and they sell out instantly.

    I don’t know if you’ll see this. And before I say this we ARE going to take all of our lizards to the vet we just don’t have jobs at the moment so we don’t have the money right now. But as soon as we have the money we’re gonna take them. And none of these things are threatening issues or I would borrow money and get them seen right away. But I have a bearded dragon and 2 leopard geckos. One of my leopard geckos was a rescue of a house with a lot of dogs and when the people would hold him the dogs would jump up a lot so he has anxiety and doesn’t like to be picked up. But sometimes I think he has some sort of problem because when he eats he often misses the insects a few times before he gets them. And I don’t think he’s blind at least not fully because he does hand out on the one side of his tank and pay attention to us before we go to bed. I’m just wondering what could possibly cause him to miss the insects. He does eat them eventually, sometimes I’ll find one or two dead or roaming the tank that he didn’t get the night before. So I’m just wondering if you have any insight on this. He acts completely normal besides this and him being skiddish and anxious about being picked up. (We try to work with him on getting used to us and out hands without over stimulating him or making him to anxious but it’s going to take some time.)

    • @JessicasAnimalFriends
      @JessicasAnimalFriends  3 года назад

      I am legitimately confused by “something sticking out of her mouth that looks yellow”, but I do recommend that you stop feeding wax worms if your gecko is showing food pickiness. They are addictive. Try offering other types of insects like Dubia roaches, crickets, superworms, hornworms.

      Sorry if it wasn't clear. I meant that once or twice a year I buy waxworms, and they come in packs of 50. Can I use up a pack over the course of roughly a month, only feeding her waxworms, or should I feed her waxworms, then crickets, then waxworms and alternate it over the course of a couple of months? The waxworms pupate quite fast though, meaning I sometimes waste a couple although I do feed the pupas.

    Hey recently I have my Leo a couple waxworms as a treat since I do every 2 weeks. She gobbled 4 of them and 1 mealworm out of the span of 4 days but now she refuses anything but them it’s only been a few days but I’m worried. • @JessicasAnimalFriends
      @JessicasAnimalFriends  3 года назад

      You’ll have to be careful with wax worms as it can lead to wax worm addiction. My best suggestion is to restart her diet with hornworms. Because they’re big juicy and enticing, it could get your leo to start eating normal insects again. But do NOT offer wax worms until your gecko has been eating regularly again
