Pt. Jia Lal Saraf Properties Naya Kashmir Hotel Lal Chowk Srinagar , a devout devotee of Mata Sharika Bhagwati was a regular visiter of Hari Parbat and would spend Saturday night at Pukhri bal in Bhajans of Mata Rani was a saintly person and lived in my neighbour ly vicinity in the compound of Peer pandit Padshah Reshpeer at Batayar. He has authored all these Bhajan malas to guide pandit community in kashmiri language which are live till date and will live for ever in whole of globe.
He has three sons . Eldest was looking after the Hotel, one of the prominent hotels of Srinagar city. Two other sons were doctors. He had a most beautiful daughter who was married to an agriculture officer of Mathoos at Karan Nagar. All these faces are roaming in my eyes while writing this post. Long live Saraf Sahib.
