Which type of compass do you think is easier/more user friendly for students to use because I have been thinking about switching from traditional compasses?
I love the flat compasses. They’re 2-in-1 so students don’t have to switch between tools, and they’re more like a stencil, so there isn’t much of a learning curve like with the traditional compass.
The drawbacks are that students need to have sharp pencils to operate them, and that they are limited to only using the holes provided. They can’t set it to just any length like a traditional compass.
