Play against some swordies and give some tips, it's the main archetype I'm personally having trouble with as kazuya. Tend to only be able to focus on crossing up their landings with d-tilt, or back tilt in neutral between fair landings.
I noticed that. I'm a Little Mac main personally and fighting Kazuya is more intense when I use Mac than when I use Sephiroth. I guess it's because of the range but I have really good range with Mac too.
Can't you just use the first hit of the bottom forward corner, the small kick in the air? Way more forgiving and has plenty of hitstun itself, I was messing around with it but I don't have the training mod to see if they can jump out of it after you hit them with the kick.
They messed up making EWGF easier than the original or the should have given this hitstun to PEWGF (Perfect Electric Wind God Fist) which is alot harder to pull off and is boarder line impossible to do consistently.

Just press the a button at the same time you move the stick down while doing the input, the game is very generous and you get used to the timing.

I assume he did it with G&W because he has a frame 3 up b, I think it works with bowser as well but you need to chain more than 4 ewgf

It all starts with a EWGF, a frame 8 move that's safe on shield and grants intagibility, so it isn't impossible to pull this off in a game
