I connected with Tammy immediately as I watched this. It made me feel not alone in my similar circumstances and calling as hers.

Will Sheila be staying in Texas or going to SoCal. Thank you Tammy for stepping in to co host with Randy. Oh, I didn’t know that the body of Tammy’s husband was recovered in that accident. Tammy did remarry. She’s wearing a ring. I didn’t know she had ever remarried.

Sheila is staying here. TBN has moved most of their operations out of California. Tammy never remarried. Probably her original ring.

Why not help people who are hungry and homeless in the U.S.? This place is based out of Texas. Such bs giving to other countries rather than our own country.

James and Betty are advocating for these children and the children need that. James and Betty are called to be their advocates. And yes, there are many of us here in America who are homeless, disabled, sick, poor and needy. And it is true, we do not have advocates for us.. James and Betty are not called to advocate for us. Actually we don’t have advocates here. I think that we are looked at as undeserving because we live in America. So we will always struggle without help or advocates. God does see us though, so when we die, he has a place for us in heaven, and all our needs will be met.(like the poor man in the Bible, who begged for food from the rich man. after he died, God had a place for him in heaven)

@@Sander611 We do quite a bit domestically. The hunger problem is primarily due to neglect, lack of awareness (of who needs food), or transportation. Mission Feeding reaches into places where there is literally no food and children are wasting away. It's a completely different set of circumstances.

We here in the US have access to free school lunches, churches, governmental programs, and a multitude of charitable organizations that have the ability and resources to feed our own. We also have parents (deadbeat or not) who can step up and get jobs to earn a salary and buy food for our kids.... companies are hiring all over. Third-world countries, poorly run countries, countries in the midst of war don't have that ability or won't provide it. Christ taught us to feed the multitudes, not just our own.
