If you have put aside all your old, punctured and unique socks as you do spring cleaning like me, this video is for you ... We make a very nice mat with all these socks using a different technique
Before throwing something in a trash bin, I have to think first what can I do with it or ask myself if it can be still useful.
In this video I show you how to transform clothes that you no longer wear into new things that are very easy to do. WITHOUT SEWING MACHINE.

I knew I needed to go through my socks and get rid of a ton but couldn't bare the thought of tossing them all. YT to the rescue as always. TFS!

I saw a bunch of hair ties as you were cutting the socks! They can also be used as hair ties!!! I love the mat too! I bet is really absorbent in the bathroom!
I use the elasticated sock cuff ends for hair ties. They are great because there is no sticky elastic to snap your hair.

Can I tweak your project one bit? You could sew the snake straight into one of those non-slip rugs or a piece of drawer liner. That way it doesnt have to be circle either, you can make it any shape youd like and itll stay in place. Love to your adorable assistant :)

One thing I have started using when I want something to stay sewn together forever is Dental Floss. It is the BOMB!

I made another version of this with a jute + sock + cloths. It took way longer than this. But you don't need to sew anything.
It was my cats favourite spot. They sleep, sit, stand and even eat on it. 😂
I can see me calling the emergency services to cut me out if I'm going to attempt this.. will take me a few goes! wish me luck 😄

You guys are petty and honestly kinda dumb. When you have real, live, in-person interactions with other living beings (as opposed to having them solely through a screen), messing around is part of forming a bond. Maybe if you spend more time being genuine and creative and less time trolling other people, you'll find that out someday when you get your own friends.

I used black socks for the middle and a bunch of white socks dyed with turmeric for the outside. They turned out to be a beautiful yellow. My black cat looks like the center of a sunflower! 🌻!🐈⬛!

When stitching u need to not let that stitching show on back. Stitch through from side not from top. Good idea.
