Love the Mill Hill and Prairie Schooler finishes! The quilt top is amazing!
The RUclips algorithm recommended you to me, probably because I have been thinking about starting my own channel, since also forever. I love quilting, too! The length of your videos is awesome. I love letting the videos run, while I am doing crafting or just lying on the couch.
AH! The hexi background. 🤩I love EPP.
Hahahaha. You blacked out and got consider the lilies😂😂😂. I love this!!!!
😂
Nice Mill Hill finish parade, they’re so cute! I have a couple I need to do someday 😂 add that to the list. Enjoying your FT and content! I live in Eastern WA and love the PNW 😊
That quilt is amazeballs!!! Absolutely you should display it, and use it!! Great job on the WIPs, I need to get "They Come at Night" and the companion piece "Queen of the Night". I love her insects series! Good luck with "Consider the Lilies". I drool over the model (from a safe distance!) when I visit Acorns and Threads. Not got the courage to start it, I have many other BAPs (Big-A$$ed Projects) that need to be started or need my attention.... off to watch #3!!!
Fun video. I have a box filled with epp hexies all folded around the paper. I really should do something wit those. 😆
😂 the hard part is already done!
Hi Rebecca! Love your floss tube so much (I subscribed after watching the first episode😊) Lauren, The New Hampshire stitcher finished Consider the Lilies on 40 count and has full details on Episode 11
Thanks so much for watching and subscribing! I love her channel. I’ll go and watch that episode 😊
Awesome blog!❤️🇨🇦
I love the Mill Hill kits also. If you ever get to Tusla, OK you have to go to the Silver Needle shop. They have a ton of Mill Hill kits!
You have me considering the Mill Hill rabbit hole...love the mushroom! I think Cheryl from Stitching with the Sisterlies flosstube is stitching Beth's Consider the Lilies :)
I’m going to go look at that Flosstube now! You should try the Mill Hill kits. I’m still totally hooked on them. 😊
I have had a full Halloween tree for years.
Oh, brilliant- using your DMC card to match the Mill Hill kit flosses! I love the Buttons and Bead kits.
Great video. I cant believe you have a 20 year old daughter! You look about 30. I love the quilt hanging up. You did a beautiful job. Yes, you shoukd definitely finish it. Thankyou
Love the EPP! I have an EPP Farmer’s Wife quilt WIP in Liberty Tana Lawn and solids that I should get out and work on. I have a Halloween Tree that I started during the pandemic and it’s one of my favorite things. It’s black, so at Christmas it gets moved to another spot in the house and holds our collection of Star Wars ornaments. ETA: Acorns & Threads is my LNS, they are the best! 💚
Came back to say that you should check out the Satsuma Street perforated paper beaded Halloween ornaments!
Thank you so much for watching! Love your idea about the Star Wars tree! I think I’m going to start collecting some Liberty fabrics soon. 😊
I’ve watched several of the same videos you watch ! I started watching Anna Quilt Roadie and then stitch Roadie ! Elizabethanncanstitch, Cait too , love her dog Birdie 😊 I’m also a Quilter and have done EPP, your quilt is gorgeous! Enjoyed your 2 videos and subscribed !
Thank you for subscribing!
Omg Acorns! It’s my goal to get there in the next year… maybe also on a concert/Lush Cosmetics trip! I found you from the seattle stitcher and I found HER from frizzy lizzy… and I think I found her from instagram? So the recco chain is looooong! I figured if I liked one of y’all I was bound to like the rest of the pnw crew😂 I’m local-ish to you guys!
THAT QUILT IS INSANE! I dream of having heirloom pieces like that filling my house one day. Oh to have lived so many craft-filled years that you can forget about something so stunning and re-discover it all over again🩷🩷That’s VERY cool!
I love the way the internet links us all together ❤️
Elizabethanncanstitch mentioned you on her last Flosstube that I just watched this morming, that’s how I found you! Hopped over and watched your WIP parade and now am caught up to episode 2. I think a lot of people stitch patriotic in June, but I stitch anything anytime, lol. I was stitching Welcome to the North Pole and This is the Day, which are two big projects for me, so I put them aside and started stitching some smalls, I needed a finish. I think I’m ready to go back to one of the large ones soon, maybe This is the Day for June and then Welcome to the North Pole for Jolly July/Christmas in July. You have a nice personality for Flosstube and I love your range of projects, mine are quite varied as well. I look forward to episode 3!
Thank you so much for watching! I agree with you about needing a finish. It’s so exciting to start new projects, but then it gets to the point where it is a little overwhelming n
Once you start making project bags, you will not stop! The tutorial on Liz's RUclips channel is awesome and easy to follow. I've made probably 7 bags in different sizes using that tutorial. I've been taking a little break from quilting so using a lot of my quilting fabric that I love to make project bags. So glad I found your channel. We have very similar eclectic tastes in patterns. Looking forward to seeing how everything progresses..
Glad you enjoyed it! I see lots of project bags on my horizon.
Welcome to the Flosstube world! I found you through Elizabethanncanstitch’s latest flosstube. Your hexagon quilt is beautiful! And I love the Prairie Schooler Halloween ornaments!
Thank you so much for watching! 😊
the Sun City Stitchers shouted you from their floss tube. love all your Mill Hill.
When working your bee's if you're not finding the queen look for eggs. You will get better with them. Love your stitching
I live in an apartment so the only pet I can have is a dog or a cat but I really love that you have bees as pets!❤ beautiful quilt.
Greetings from Gresham, Oregon! Your description of attending an event in Ridgefield, and traffic in this part of Oregon/Washington, was spot on…it is not fun🤬
I love Mill Hill kits too for the instant gratification. My craftroom is a work-in-progress but it will definitely have a seasonal tree to display my creations and other decor. I love paper crafting too so I took over my son’s room when he moved out and I’m filling it up.
I will be visiting Acorns and Threads within the next week or two, I LOVE that store!
Elizabethanncanstitch introduced you to me and you have introduced me to the Seattle Stitcher. I love this community AND you are a welcome addition to my playlist💖✨
Thank you so much for watching! It’s nice to meet another PNW stitcher. 😊
Your Hexie quilt is phenomenal! Do you ever watch The Last Homely House East of the Sea? She made a hexie quilt for her grand daughter and hand quilted it with big stitches. It turned out so pretty. What a variety of Mill Hill Ornaments! I finished one recently. Once I got into a rhythm with the beading, it was a lot of fun. I had no idea there are so many available. You’re working on so many pretty projects! Thank for sharing them with us. ❤
Thank you for watching! I’m definitely checking out that channel - I’d not heard of her before!
Forgot to mention, Liz has two tutorials for project bags. One with vinyl and one without. I’ve used both and they are awesome!
A great video! Your quilt top in the background is beautiful. I agree hand piecing and hand quilting is really relaxing. Love your projects.
Your quilt top is exquisite ❤️❤️
Love, love, love my Mill Hill ornaments. I call them "snacks" in between my large, full coverage WIPs. Finishing a MH ornament gives me a terrific sense of accomplishment when the large projects (I have 20 on the go) get overwhelming. You have to get the coin purse ornament. It was my first one, and I will treasure it for years to come.
I’m looking that one up now! The designs seem endless- there are always more to discover
Really enjoyed catching up with you today and seeing all your beautiful projects. Your EPP piece is just stunning and such a labour of love. x
Stitcherista she puts like a tape around the perforated paper so your thread doesn’t snag the side. Absolutely love the quit. Great video 1st was great as well. Have a wonderful weekend.
Your quilt is gorgeous!!! 😍 it makes me want to learn how to make one. Great second video! I am doing a lot of stitching on my Modern Folk Embroidery pieces for #JacobJune! 😊
Fun stuff! I'm doing the fungi book SAL from Living on the Rainbow, which is adorable, but mostly I will be traveling and *gasp* I'm not taking any stitching with me! It's mostly hiking and I don't want to risk damaging anything....
Come to think of it Living on the Rainbow has some great Halloweeny stuff, you should definitely check her out.
Another great flosstube. I love long ones because it's like stitching with a friend.
Your bees are having babies. So sweet.
June will be my catch up on WIPGO month. I lost my stitchy bug for a while so now that it's back I need to get some work done. I realize that I don't like having so many WIPs. But I did sign up for the MSAL from Jardin Prive. For me it will probably be a start along.
I’m also feeling that urge to get progress on the things I’ve started. There is just so much temptation to keep starting new things.
I am so glad you didn't delete your first video. It's nice to get to know you from the beginning.
I found your channel because Elizabethanncanstitch mentioned to watch you!
Thanks you for coming over and watching! 😊
Yay ! Finally catching up with your videos, so happy you’re doing this 🎉 keep them up and it’s so nice to see all your progress and interesting stitching ❤
Thank you so much!!❤️
Hey Rebecca... All of a sudden, a BAP-of-a-full-coverage pattern seems doable after viewing your English paper-pieced quilt top. How painstakingly beautiful is that?! Your finishing aspirations are to be admired... (*yeow*). Looking forward to continuing to follow along~~ from the Midwest, US.
Loved seeing all of your Mill Hill finishes. Great video. I did Consider the Lilies on 36 count Dusty Road by Seraphim Fabrics. I love the pink undertones in it.
Great video, Rebecca! Love your EPP hexie quilt top. I love making hexies, too-tho so far only for smaller projects like table toppers, cosmetic bags, etc. I will be visiting London next spring, and am hoping to have time for a quick visit to Liberty. Live music and a trip to a LNS on the same trip? I can’t think of much better than that!
Sounds like it will be an amazing trip!!
Love the mill hills. Right before you said that you might do hexies with liberty, I thought I might use my liberty fabric for same! I enjoyed your video so much.
I was at acorns on Wednesday for the stitch group Wip Wednesday 🥰
I miss living in Portland and being so close to that shop!
Love long flosstube. I’m doing strawberry moon in June, found a super cute one on Etsy, Modern Abstract, Fruit
That black project would make me crazier than I am. Patty
Hello. So much hexagons behind you. OMG. It's so crazy and hard work. Your video was recommended by youtube. At first I watched your first video and I back again to see second video.
I found you flosstube from Elizabeth can stitch. Great video
Really enjoyed both of your flosstubes, found you via Stitchroadies, like you I am a serial crafter, and you have sent me down the Mill Hill rabbit hole. Seriously wish we had shops and supplies like you here in the uk.
Hi Beck. Thanks for the update. Your Mill Hill May looks like it was fun. Hope your dog is okay. Cool t-shirt! ⚘️
Such a beautiful hexie quilt. I would love to do one of those one day. I have a very, very small start on a 1" postage stamp quilt. Ok, you have me looking at the Mill Hill ornaments now. lol.
You’re welcome and I’m sorry. 😂 They are addictive
I found you through Elizabeth Ann can Stich.
Loved this update!! I am the same way, when it comes to shopping; unfortunately, the amount of cross stitch I can manage to juggle doesn't always match my wallet's ability to pay 😂 Can't wait to follow along on the Heartstring piece as you start it! Have a great week and happy stitching 💜
Another enjoyable video. Love how you talk to us like a friend over for a day of stitching. Look forward to more and great stitching.
Omg! Consider the Lilys ahhhhhh! I can’t wait to watch this com along! -C🎀🐦⬛
Such a fun video…Elizabethann can stitch sent us over….she also is amazing….thanks for sharing.
I love her channel and she is the sweetest person!
RUclips recommended your channel to me and I enjoyed your first video so I'm back for the second! ElizabethAnn Can Stitch has the best tutorial for project bags! Its the only one I use for all my bags. The Comfort Stitcher has an absolutely stunning finish of Consider the Lilies in her first video.
Love all your sals!
I am stitching Consider The Lillys on 36 count Zweigart Winter Moon…it’s looking great and a nice stitch. Enjoy…looking forward to seeing your progress!!
❤❤❤🌸
I know some people are making a frame that goes around the perforated paper so the threads don’t get caught when you’re stitching. I’ve seen them on Etsy, just put in perforated paper frame for Mill Hill. You did Mill Hill May! Next year you can do a SAL with them in May. I don’t remember who sent me over or if it was the algorithm. But I’m glad I am here. Happy Stitching 🧵🪡
Love the idea of Mill Hill May! I’ll plan to host a SAL next year.
Hi… comfort stitching finished comfort of the lilies. She is also new… so beautiful.
So happy you didn’t delete your first video and came back with another one 😍 Love your quilt in the background and yay to the Deadly Aquarium - i am loving it ❤️
Hi :) i found your first video from the algorithm but im pretty sure Megan from The Seattle stitcher talked about your new flosstube channel :)
Great second video. I watched the first one and was hoping you would do more. My favorite length to watch is about 40 minutes. There are so many floss tubers now and I like to listen to several so if they are over an hour, they tend to lose me. I like 30 to 40 minutes the best.
Glad you're back! I usually try to finish Christmas gifts in June :) Trying to stay out of the heat, lol.
the mushrooms are so cute😍😍😍
Great video. OMG that quilt!!!!! It is just amazing. Looks like you had a Mill Hill May!!! I'm starting a Carolyn Manning for June! Why not? The camping stitcher started a Stitch That Kit Challenge. Start something you have kitted up but for some reason it is still just sitting there, not being stitched! I loved your pin up girl on that fabric!! All your projects are fun to see. Thank you for filming 🙂
Happy Stitching ❤!!
My 2 friends and I are starting the MSAL by Jardin Prive. It’s available thru her website. I also plan on starting the upcoming MSAL by Satsuma Street. She has stated in the FB group that it will be Halloween themed. So exciting. I love her MSAL’s. I plan on making these 2 a priority for however it takes to keep up with them and finish them both.
I’m going to look into both of these!
I adore your hexie curtain behind you! I love the Mill Hill projects too... very addictive! I'll be stitching strawberry projects in June! Yes...Pinker 'n Punkin is an awesome blog! So many great (free) stitching designs!
Enjoyed your video.
The thread gremlins mentioned your youtube channel
Love seeing another washington stitcher!!!
Found your flosstube via ElizabethAnnCanStitch! Really enjoying your content - I find myself drawn to such a variety of cross-stitch projects and designs, so I love seeing the diversity in your stitching. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful work!!
Thank you for watching! ❤️
RIP to number 12! Your quilt is so gorgeous. It makes a beautiful background.
I too am curious what everyone will be doing for June. I wish we had an official calendar of the themes for the months and the SALs that are happening.
Cross Stitch Cait mentioned you! Her channel is great!
❤❤❤ love your stitches! Congratulations on your FlossTube Success 🎉
Seattle Stitcher shouted you out. I love those Halloween Ornaments for your tree. I just bought a Mill Hill Kit and mine is called Garden but I have not stitched on it yet because I think I am afraid of the beads since I never beaded before. Yours are so adorable. Crow Stitcher is hosting the Long Dog for June. In June I am following Laura Stitching By The Shore and her 10 prompts plus I will be stitching on my Irish Blessing which is my biggest project instead of a Long Dog. I will be stitching 200 stitches a day on those projects. Love your video. Happy Stitching.
Mirabilia Monday...Tuesday thru Thursday W.I.P. Friday thru Sunday Seasonal W.I.P.s
That’s a great rotation
just found you through my feed - welcome to floss tube! I love long videos too and mine tend to be very long LOL
Rebecca! Greetings from Dallas! Loving your flosstubes! And your quilt top is gorgeous. I think doing one in all Liberty fabrics would be awesome. One thing I don’t understand however, is how you have a 20 year old daughter!! You don’t look like you’re out of your 20s yet!! Good genes!!! Looking forward to your next video!!
Looks to me like you didn’t fail at Mira May or Manning May, you just chose to go all in on Mill Hill May instead!
Enjoyed your 1st Flosstube video! Did you say to leave a bee or beer emoji? I’ll do both just in case lol😅 🐝 🍺
@@owlbestitching8839 thank you for watching! Either is perfectly acceptable 😂
Elizabetanncanstitch introduced me to you.
HI lovely to find you today. I watched your first episode and then when this one started and I saw your beautiful quilt I gasped. I am a scrappy quilter and I absolutely love your scrappy Hexie quit it is stunning. Please may I ask what size hexagons you used? If you said I apologise I am a bit deaf and may have missed it. All your cross stitch projects are beautiful , Off to watch episode 3 now
Thanks so much for watching!! I’m pretty sure they are 1” hexies. I bought a bulk pack of the papers and have fabric coming to start a Liberty of London hexie quilt.
