Bro, I have a 2 TB SATA SSD with me which I am planning to use as an external drive . Here there is no problem of windows as it is in my internal NVME SSD. This new drive is only meant for backup storage. So in that case should I multi partition it..? or can I use the single 2tb partition ?

I have a problem with my hard drive. I hope you can point me in the right direction. I had my computer updated three years ago from windows 8 to windows 10. I think the tech made an error when he partitioned my drive. I have a typical C: drive with my windows os on it. I also have a number of other partitions. One is called F: SYSTEM. It is a 1 GB Partition. My total HD is 1TB. This F drive has a folder called Recovery.....when I click on it it is empty but I think I need to view it somewhere else cause it says the F: system has about 485mb in it. below the recovery file it says system....it looks like a piece of white paper with the upper right corner folded. I think it needs to be incorportated into my c: drive before I copy the drive to my new SSD via usb 3.0 port and boot to partition wizard. I am getting an error in partitian wizard after the computer restarts into bios telling me the F folder is running and I need to close it or something. Help me fix it and I will send you some cash via paypal. I am disabled but I don't want you to help me for free so is 10 bucks cool? Thanks.

Bro, for 512 GB SSD ,while partitioning, what is optimum space that should be given to C drive?
Usage: autocad and other normal softwares,etc

512 GB is very nice storage. You should divide the available space by 5 for installing OS. It will come just under 100GB.
The bare OS will occupy around 25GB and rest of the 100GB partition can be used for installing applications. Still you will be left with 400GB space for storing your data.
