- This short trip across Tanzania starts very epic! The solo overland expedition is about to experience a first few days transit to reach the fifth country of the adventure: Rwanda. But first, I need to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and people of Tanzania, with Rafiki, my Toyota Hilux. The North West part of the Swahili speaking country is getting wild and so beautiful. So much gravel roads surrounded by Nature and wildlife. Will I arrive to Rwanda on time? Will the road get easy? Not sure, but these moments are going to be unforgettable. Watch it and tell me.

Welcome to Tanzania. I see you used the only unpaved Main Road in Tanzania that connects Katavi and Kigoma regions. The last regions of Tanzania to be connected with tarmac roads.

When I saw the steering wheel rocking your arms, I remembered how I learnt driving an old truck on a gravel surface. It took me long to master the science of driving on those roads and this episode just brings back those dusty and corrugated memories.

Watching you suffering the road corrugations brought back memories when we used to go on safari in the school holidays to visit the game parks, that is me, my sister, mum and dad, wonderful times never to be forgotten.

What a fantastic adventure! Keep positive and laughing, it's something they cannot take away from us. Nothing commercial on this channel which I like very much. Pure emotion, energy and laughter, the way life should be. My life, like most, is a struggle, the 8 to 5 , the must do's, the rat race. I miss the freedom of Africa and want to go back some day to just drive and keep on driving to discover and to enjoy cultures and especially nature. I so so miss real nature and freedom. Like I told and shocked my colleagues. I want to wake up and walk around outside without someone seeing me. The pure being on my own not feeling watched, being one with nature. Not sure if I could do this alone but in the end like you I might not want to be with someone.

Solo overland expedition = traveling alone. I pilot my drone while driving my car but always in desert areas and driving 20km/h (obv speeding it up on my computer). Women are not stupid and many travel alone.
