- During the 25th Anniversary of The Jackson Music Studio Celebration in Memphis, special guest Kim Burrell honored Barbara Jackson Sago and Derrick Jackson for the gifts and contibutions to gospel music and the music industry.

The amazing thing is that Kim was not feeling well at all that night. She was suffering from a severe flu, but she sang three songs like it was nothing. Amazing gift to the body of Christ! She hears things musically that I could never hear and she executes what she hears EFFORTLESSLY!!!
My favorite thing about Kim is that YES she can sing her BEHIND off, but more than anything she MINISTERS!!! THAT is why Kim's ministry will be a very long-lasting one!

This is at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Memphis, TN. It was a 25th Anniversary Celebration for Derrick Jackson and Barbara Jackson Sago, a brother and sister, who have a school of music in Memphis. They have trained some of the best musicians in the country. Some of their past students include Timothy Mason, who is Music Director for Kurt Carr and Chris Morris, who is Music Director for Donald Lawrence. And they also happen to be my big brother and sister!! :-)

Who really care about the attire this Amazing Woman has on with a voice like this?? Someone Does lol but I agree this is an Awesome vocal performance!
I dont think it was a fail.. lol she looks good and its a nice vintage look but she shouldve maybe got the dress tailored...
