Here is a new vlog! For the first time I did some baby shopping and I'm showing you some of my favorite pieces. Also, me and Maurits are exploring Hello Fresh for the first time. Let me know if you guys have tried it out.

Nothing is unnecessary, enjoy this stage and every stage of becoming a mom. It's one of the sweetest seasons of life anticipating this sweet new life. Congratulations!
Very cute clothes negin! But as a first time mom who made the mistake of buying a lot of cute clothes for my baby trust me when I say my kid hardly wore any of them except for special occasions and photo shoots. Babies for the first year pretty much live in pajamas because you have to put them down for naps throughout the day so what I ended up really using was pajamas with easy access for diaper changes. Trust me you will want your baby to sleep in comfort. Make sure to buy lots of pajamas as well in zipper or button down style, whichever you like!
100% agree. and don’t even get pajamas with buttons I would only suggest zippers.

Hey Negin. When I had my firstborn boy I also bought a lot of cute but unpractical things that ended up unworn. Now I’m expecting my second baby. You will need a lot of basics like H&M wrap over bodies + trousers sets at least 5 to 10 outfits per size (56;62;68…). About 5 overall pyjamas per size with buttons or zipper in front. Make sure to buy all clothes with front buttons and zippers until age of 6 months, babies hate to be dressed over head. For outdoors - overalls with zipper. Look up for simple cotton hats and mittens for first week, because babies tend to scratch themselves with their sharp little nails.
Love to see the sparkles of joy in your eyes when you show us your baby son's clothes ! It made me emotional to see you so happy ! Enjoy every part of it ! I can't wait when it will be my turn in a few years ❤❤❤

You're going to be such great parents! You've wanted a baby for so long and now that you got your wish, you will treasure it. Negin, I love that you are already thinking about baby #2. As a labor & delivery nurse, I have never had a mom think about baby #2 before getting past the delivery of baby #1. LOL. What a champion you are.
Baby clothes are the cutest! And those are some very adorable, comfy and stylish baby garments that you purchased!

It's is a rite of motherhood to buy so much baby stuff you might not ever need, and a pleasure it is! Being excited and living in a baby bubble is so joyful, you deserve this happiness and it increases the expectation and joy of this very fleeting time. Plus, if you are like me you keep all of the special baby clothes forever because one day you may need them for grandkids! (I have pieces all four of my children wore and then passed onto my little niece, but the best ones I keep in case someday another baby comes or just to treasure!)
It's so cute seeing you so excited for everything that's happening, your joy is infectious. This will be one of your vlogs I'll be rewatching again and again.

I loooove watching you as a future mom!!! When you said that you guys are going through something, I knew that is about your pregnancy. I just love seeing your Mama heart glow! I too thought I was crazy for buying 4T 5T clothes. I was surprisingly wrong! My son is only 1 and he already fits 5T. I find that kids clothes run so different did every brand. My go-to for cute boy clothes is Zara! All my love ❤️

What a cute outfits, it's best feeling getting ready for little baby arrival. Enjoy organising the nursery and clothes.
Small note, for baby clothes buys the with zippers so much easier for changing nappies in winger time. Wishing you happy and healthy pregnancy ❤

Love the baby clothes…my goodness they improved in style so much from 20 years ago for my grandson. Everything was light blue back then. It is so exciting to have a little one. Remember to get help for the nighttime. The after midnight feedings are exhausting. I watched my grandson for those middle of the night feedings. You work and so did my daughter after 6 weeks. Love mj. Take my advice or do what you feel works for you. No malice intended
Your daughter is very blessed to have you, any mother would dream of a nighttime helper! Negin I think can afford it or have family help, so highly recommend this too!

(Also, don’t feel bad for buying the 4-5 years old jacket… when I travelled to US for the first time there were so many cute and comparatively inexpensive Ralph Laurent kid clothes there, that I bought things for the following 3 years for my son and my daughter 😂😂)

Cute clothes! And you’re right, it is more and more difficult to find beautiful sets as they’re growing. I would suggest you to check French, Spanish and Italian brands. They’re more stylish than Northern European ones (and much more colourful) Good luck!

Maybe this is unpopular, but I think you should shop as much as your heart desires for your baby 🤍I have three boys and yes they wear some hand me downs, but even now still I love to buy new clothes also for each one.
The way I see it is that we will only maybe experience this a few times in our lives and the days are long, but the years are fast and I want to look back at this time without regrets on what I wanted for my babies, but didn’t get because people say they won’t wear this or that - my babies did and I loved it. Enjoy it and congratulations on your pregnancy ♥️
Cute clothes! the jacket I’m sure he’ll be able to wear when he’s 3 yr or maybe even at 2 yr old! you won’t have to hold onto it for that long! 😊 most kids wear one size or two size up.. they make kids clothes so small!
