My dad was taken to the hospital for stroke symptoms of confusion and short-term memory loss Saturday evening, then by Monday morning his brain function was 90% gone with heart and kidney issues worsening. We had to pull the plug on him. I don't feel great about the NCCU as they had no idea what the hell happened to my dad in such a short period of time.

I don’t work where your dad was taken, but sometimes we don’t know why someone’s condition deteriorates so quickly. Sometimes there are underlying conditions that the human body can compensate for until those mechanisms themselves depleted/fail. I know none of that provides any kind of explanation, but I am very sorry for the loss of your father and know personally the pain of that kind of loss. My sincerest condolences.
