I have been diagnosed with this. Had a very awful seizure before they MRI to find out. I was diagnosed with an auto immune kidney disease in my early 20s. Blood pressure has gotten worse and worse over the years.

Cannot find any decent resources for PRES! Have had a 2nd bout, 6 months later, and I really need understanding of this! BP has been as high as 229/139. Was given nicardippine

How was your recovering? My girlfriend has that, I found her having seizures and performed 911 and saved her and our baby’s life. It’s been 3 days now and her mri showed she had Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome. She had a c-section and the baby is fine but my girlfriend had To be sedated Because she had Eclampsia. I’m hoping and praying that she makes a full recovery. How was your experience and how long did it take for you to recover

Could an epidural csf leak cause this?! My wife developed this after giving birth and had a csf leak and a blood patch to repair it... Please advise.

no. CSF leaks would cause low blood pressure if anything, but even that is sketchy. This occurs from an abnormally high blood pressure.
