The Buffalo//Cincinnati bromance is the most wholesome story in the last decade of football.
I agree. I've been a Bengal fan my entire 43 years, but I've never met a Bill's fan I didn't like. Can't say that about most of these other teams.
@@leighanntaulbee ive been a Bills fan for 33 years now and I cosign this.
#BillsMafia has nothing but love and respect for #BengalsNation #WhoDey
Especially when it was a Bengals Qb that ended the longest playoff drought in all of sports
whats hole some watching young man die on field because of fauci?
Yes sir. No rivalry will ever be with these two teams. They share a bond no other teams will feel.
I am a Bills fan. Always thought Joe is a pretty cool guy but he is even a better man than I thought. I appreciate everything and everyone in Cincinnati has done and the support they gave to the Bills team, Damar, and his family. 🙏
As a bengs fan I’ve always found it awesome and odd that bills and bengs are almost kindred spirits over the last decade or more. The playoff help here and there, the back n forth donating to charities, we shared fitzmagic at its infancy, both blue color smaller market fanbases. This is going to solidify that relationship; bengs fans will find themselves cheering for bills more and vice versa, except when we play each other. And the teams will play each other with a new found respect for one another that transcends football and competition.
@@arym1108 I am a bills fan, well said! We respect your franchise and fan base a lot! Nothing but class!!
I am a Bengals fan, but I have rooted for the Bills too. Small market teams who both came close to holding a Superbowl trophy, but haven't yet. I think both should get some kind of trophy for the case for people to look at. Let the fans know it's about respect, and honor.
I'm a die hard bengals fan... but the Bills are my 2nd team. I love when we beat Baltimore couple years ago and the Bills Mafia donated a ton to Andy Dalton charity.
They are all great people! The brotherhood of both teams...amazing! When I seen Josh and Joe standing together looking on, talking, broke my heart! Then seeing Diggs tears down his face! For all those who sent so much hate towards T.Higgins, you need to sit down and realize how he must feel AND HE DID NOTHING WRONG!

My respect goes to the Bengals and their fans for the class and decency shown since this hole situation transpired. Let’s keep those prayers going for Demar.

I was there and we were completely concerned.
" ...mature beyond his 25 years" ...as a Bills fan, I knew this before he was even drafted because of his Heisman acceptance speech. I rewatch it a couple/few times a year, and tell people all the time to watch it. It was exemplary and uplifting. If Josh Allen was not our QB, I would most definitely want Joe Burrow! It seems weird that my 2nd fav team has gone from the Packers, to the Bengals, because theyre in the AFC, but hey, I think the world of Joe B and the Bengals so it is what it is, ha. Besides, the Bengals have basically had a terrible 2 decades, just like the Bills, because we just COULD NOT find "our guy/our QB", and now that we have Josh, it feels awesome again, ....like it hadnt since the Jim Kelly era, ....and Im pretty sure Bengals fans feel that way to, after going so long without "the guy" at QB!

Watching the game live. It was terrifying seeing Hamlin just drop onto the ground like he did. It took me back to when Tupou sacked Tagovailoa and he went down. But what happened with Hamlin is 100x worse. Watching everything and hearing the stadium just go completely silent was so eerie and heartbreaking that a 24 year old man was fighting for his life. Only 38 yrs old! You'd think AT LEAST ONE MENTION of it would have shown respect, especially since it was also a heart failure ...? Guess not.
My guy, my team, my coach. So proud of how we are opening talking about the mental aspect of it. Mental health is just as important. Praying everyone can process this and be their best.
As a bills fan - I feel Buffalo should give Cincinnati the win. Its not like we won’t see them in the playoffs. I know it was a mutual decision to end the game. However, Cincinnati showed our brother Damar love as if he was one of them. Now if that’s not worth a win I don’t know what is. At this point we all guaranteed at least one home game and giving how what transpired in Cinny with Damar we will get plenty of love regardless of where we play at. So Buffalo give Cincinnati that game so we can turn our focus onto what really matters.
No Cinncy only did what any decent org would do. Do you think they did better than any other home team would do in that same situation?
No way you give that game away based on emotions. We all know that a life is more important than a game, so don't go there. You really think Cinncy deserves the win just because they were hospitable. If anyone should be rewarded it's the first responders. They obviously may have made the difference. If it were the 4th quarter and Cincy up by 20 you likely concede the game, but this was just getting started. Yes I can hope and pray for the best outcome for Damar, and still think rationally about the logistics of the remaining season. The choice is not binary. This can be solved.
Not sure how the NFL is going to figure this out? From rumored reports by Boomer Esiason and Adam Sheftner; there's talks of just calling it a push (as if the game never happened.)
As a Chiefs fan, I believe that puts a huge asterisk on obtaining the top seed. Additionally, as a Chiefs fan, I want them to win out.
Really though, as a fan of the game, I want to see Buffalo win it all. There would be no better way to cap off their season.
@@bcornel5923 I get it but what if Cinncy decided they wanted to still play the game then Buffalo would have to go back on the field with all that build up emotions. Regardless, they showed it was bigger than football. Both teams drove down field like it was nothing and I believe the bill would have one but that’s not the point. The point is injuries are part of football and with people like Skip in the world don’t tell me every coach would make the same decision.

The Bengals have had some terribly hard hurdles every season. Ones that 99.9% of the league will never experience, with all the challenges they still have played unremarkable yet do not get the credit the deserve. Burrow = leader
I say don’t make any decisions until we know for sure what happens with Damar. However I do feel that if anything happens and the game does not get played it should be forfeited by Buffalo since the Bengals were up at that point. Baseball has a similar rule, granted a certain amount of the game has to be played for that to happen. This isn’t a normal situation and it’s heartbreaking but these guys fight for the whole season for a shot at getting a playoff berth and a shot at home field advantage and that is very important to the players and fans who are invested in this team. I’m trying to word my opinion without coming off insensitive because I was in tears Monday night. Everyone wants him to be ok, but the league needs to press forward. I’ve lost loved ones before and it feels like the world comes to a standstill, and I’ve had to learn a hard lesson that the world moves on with or without you.
Should be declared a no contest and a tie. Trying to get a free win from this is gross.
It would be one thing if the Bengals were up 38-10 in the third quarter when this happened. 7-3 in the first quarter is not enough to declare the Bengals the winner based on the score. You're right, life goes on and the NFL will go on this year, and something will have to get figured out. But giving the Bengals a win based on the score after the first two drives of the game isn't a good option.
I’m not “trying to get a free win” I just wish this wouldn’t have happened in all aspects. If they make it a no contest and a tie, the only way to make it fair would be to give every team that played in week seventeen a tie.

The Bills and Bengals in essence just had a bye, because they didn't play in week 17. I think they should call the Bengals and Bills game a draw and move forward. They've already put the Chiefs at a disadvantage by moving their already scheduled game against the Raiders from a late sunday game after the Bills and Pats game to a Saturday playoff like game. So the Bengals and Bills know whether the Chiefs win or lose their last game. When originally the Chiefs were in the position where they would know if the Bills and Bengals won or loss against both the Bengals and the Pats and the Bills and Ravens before they were scheduled to play the Raiders. Meaning the Chiefs go from possibly being able to rest their starters, to the Raider game becoming more like their 1st playoff game.
Both the Bengals and Bills will have only played 15 games while the Chiefs will have played 17 and not rested anyone. The Bills and Bengals will know whether or not resting their players is a good decision based on the seeding they have a shot to get. It won't be fair to some team(s) no matter what the NFL decides to do. Teams just have to make the best of whatever the NFL decides. The NFL perhaps should put Damar Hamlin, his family, and the Bills and Bengals wishes into consideration before making their decision. Perhaps that is what the NFL is doing? Not an easy call whatever is decided. Prayers goes out to Damar Hamlin, his family, the Bills,Bengals and everyone closest to the tragedy that took place on Monday night.
