We are fostering 2 year old Hildy & her 5 week old kittens for VOKRA who rescued them from a bike shed in Vancouver BC Canada.
The catio was originally installed for our former foster cat George I who use to stay in the foster kitten garden guest suite when he use to visit while his dad Bill was on vacation. George didn't get along with other cats so it was hard to keep him in our house with our 5 Kits Cats.

They're still a bit wobbly on their feet but I think the larger pen will allow them to practice running and in a couple days they'll be no stopping them. Kitten Crab Walking is so enjoyable to watch.

The World needs more Love and Duct-tape!! Beautiful enclosure, guys. I think the "Scratchy Cardboard Arches" would be a great addition...go for it, Doug. LOL. SUPER-MOM Hilde, at it again...she is one Cool Cat. Ragnar just cracks me up...he looks like some guy who just rolled out of a Bar...completely hammered, and is looking for an argument. Such adorable, healthy, happy, crazy kittens. Good thing I can't reach through my iPad screen, or you might find Marjory and Alfred moving to Ontario...I wish ! This feline family are VERY LUCKY to have you in their corner.🐈❤️👍😻

Lot of crab walking going on there! Maybe Ragnar thought he had to intimidate the scary new toys? "The pitter patter of little feet"--and the crash bang of running into the litter boxes! Maybe you need tiny bumpers on those things? XD

That's a wonderful idea! 8 micro Go Pros buzzing around the pen, capturing everything, from every angle, at one time. That would put a whole new perspective on the Hollywood Squares look, don't you think?! What fun! I've been in the CCTV video surveillance business for years. This is doable. So many kittens, so little time. Just an after thought, you could turn that into a 24 hour live stream! Wow! Wouldn't that be fun.

Ragnar is like a tiny version of my cat, constantly hopping around and then dashing off like a (lovable) nut. XD
My cat is 5 years old and still hasn't outgrown that; in fact, it's his favorite way to play.

The kittens are enjoying the new enclosure and the extra space will be welcome... After watching Ragnar I think it;s too late for him to learn hoe to fall as he's acting like he's fallen on his head several times already.

The expanded area looks great!! 😊🙂 Kittens are getting sooo big. I love how the little ginger was scampering about sideways and walking sideways. So cute!! They are all sooo beautiful!! Just AMAZING how she was able to keep them nourished with a little help of bottle feeding, yet, all in all, Hildy has done a remarkable job as mommy. Love the video! Also love the outside screened in enclosure attached to the side of your home. Very nice indeed.

Ginger baby Ragnar has stolen my heart....I'd love to adopt him but I don't think I would fit Vokra parameters, because I'm a smoker. I do have a cat, her name is Topaz..And I live in Kits.
VOKRA's biggest issue is that their kitties remain indoor ones.
Oh yes.Topaz has never been outside,except on the patio, with me. Too dangerous outside. And Topaz has a hip & back leg problem..birth defect.
My first thought was, that is a lot of kitty litter. 😹😹Then a lot of fun action from the kittens 🌪🌪😻😻🌪🌪Mum having a break 😊😊- who can blame her?

There should be a room with kittens like this in every office/workplace where you could just go in each day for few minutes to watch them play and pet them. That would be such a good stress relief! 😊🐈😻

I'd like to point out that the big carpeted circle could be a time portal for kitten. If they left they would come back in the very same time and thus they would be time travelers that the naked eye (what other kind of eye is there, but a naked one?) would not pick up. If you get a dejavú feeling sometime when the kittens are there, they must have gone back and changed time and you only have an eerie sense of it. ;)

I like the new bigger play pen. I think they'd love some more toys, the smaller ones like mice, fish, those long toys that they can hug and kick, even just paper balls or cardboard toilet paper rolls. I'd love to see them chase a fishing rod style toy as well, that would be fun. Does Hildy like to play as well? Anyway thanks for taking such good care of them, blessings to all kitties in your care. xo
