    I think one thing to make note of the Ink Demon's new design/personality is that it doesn't come out of nowhere like "Let's just make him scarier". The writers actually explain it through some audio logs the Keepers made if you were to find them all in Gent. In essence, Bendy looking so beastly is the result of Wilson's failed attempts to kill, control or contain him. Not only did Wilson fail to kill the Ink Demon ("Termination: impossible."), he made him more powerful by unintentionally forcing him to evolve, adding yet another layer to Wilson's lack of talent or knowledge that ultimately led him down a self destructive path.

    • @TheChildoftheDarkness
      @TheChildoftheDarkness Год назад +77

      I thought that the Ink Demon evolved like this is because of the amount of times The Cycle has been reset, hm🤔.

    • @22Tesla
      @22Tesla Год назад +114

      A good theory, but I have my own theory I'm working on. Basically it is this: because Wilson froze the cycle, this eternal loop meant to torment Henry forever, the Ink Demon evolves just like the world does.
      Like I imagine that in the cycle, normally the lost ones have very faint memories of their home/where they were, and Bendy himself is just a souless husk that attacks anything with a soul. But the longer the cycle is frozen, the more memories start to emerge and the world changes to create it. And the more the beings within the cycle change as well.
      Allison tries to reach out to Alice, to get her to come to her senses even mentioning how she worries she'll have to do something she will regret. Lost ones become more human as they stop standing in one spot sad and lost, they begin to become who they used to be before they were converted into ink creatures (the artist lost one wanting his pictures, the lost one being thrown from the butcher shop acting like he was just fired), or create a whole new identity (Porter and Heidi.) And of course, the Ink Demon changes, he's not just a soulless husk who's task is to hunt anything that moves, but he's become a beaten and tortured animal who loathes himself (his whole speech to Audrey of being a "mistake, a monster" these are things he remembers from his creation and until this moment hasn't been able to remember it.)
      And of course, the longer the cycle stays active, the more things change.
      In fact... what if the Joey we meet wasn't Joey trying to put himself into the cycle as Pastra theorizes? But enough fragments that came back together to create him?

    One of the most horrifying parts of the game to me is that just by getting up from her chair, Audrey doomed herself to an eternity of torment. Even if The End is played, the Cycle will repeat again, and even if it's rewritten, someone will eventually find a way to bring it back to what it was, because after all, forever is a long time, and someone oughta get bored.

    • @mrreyes5004
      @mrreyes5004 Год назад +160

      I mean, not really. Audrey is technically immortal, but we also know for a fact that she left the Cycle and returned to the real world with Bendy/Ink Demon. She won't outlive her allies in the Cycle (i.e. Henry, Alison) because they are also immortal ink creatures who don't suffer from age. Even if someone finds a way to bring the Cycle back to what it was, it'll just be rewritten eventually... like you yourself said, forever is a long time and someone will inevitably be bored of it being what is always was.

    The finale is even better when you realize that the Ink Demon is "technically" Joey's son(Not Henry's because Henry didn't make the ink demon, he made Bendy) So the entire finale conversation between the Ink Demon and Audrey is a older bitter brother who was tormented his whole life because he wasn't perfect, talking to his little sister who was perfect in every way he wasn't.
    All because Joey tormented the Ink Demon because he wasn't perfect.
    Technically the Ink Demon has never been at fault. It was all Joey. Joey is the true villain, and the Ink Demon is just a confused young boy who wants to make up for his mistakes.
    Kind of like Wilson in a way. Where Wilson had nothing special and made HIMSELF the villain, but the Ink Demon was special in the wrong way. So much so that he was completely flaud, and tortured. Other's made HIM the villain. When the Ink Demon did nothing wrong...

    • @daranaqelforastero319
      @daranaqelforastero319 7 месяцев назад +58

      That's true, even going back to the tape in BATIM which mentions that at first all the Ink Demon would do was roam around the studio, it wasn't really aggressive or anything.
      Bendy The Ink Demon is a great villain, he was created to embody the cartoon character, but because he was twisted, and horrifying, he was locked away inside the cycle, which probably at the time was nothing but a black void, and then imagine all the year's the years that passed before Joey properly made the cycle of hatred made for Henry.
      And if you think about it, there's 2 reasons why The Ink Demon would want to kill Henry, because he was the first other being he had ever seen in years, and also when they gi through the loops you can assume it's because you are the one that just restarted everything

    What I love most about this game is that despite being a horror game, it has so much heart. BATDR has the balls to actually give you a semi-happy ending - many horror games seem to feel that they aren't scary enough if they don't end in torment and misery. BATDR, on the other hand, treats its characters as characters, not merely as vessels for torture and pain. And what I adore most of all is its final message.
    BATDR isn't about good and evil - it's about artistic integrity. Its final verdict on its characters is incredibly wholesome: Alice is crazy and narcissistic, and that's OK. Sammy is a Bendy-obsessed psycho, and that's OK. The Lost Ones are depressive nutjobs, and that's OK. Bendy is a creature of utmost evil that corrupts those around it, and that's OK. Because they're all integral and necessary to their own story.
    The only thing that is not OK is Wilson. Because Wilson interferes with Bendy's world, not to create art, but to establish himself as some kind of saviour. His own character Dudley isn't a product of artistic integrity, but of greed and envy. He tampers with the nature of Bendy's story without really understanding it. In a way, it's a metaphor for corporate greed plunging its hands into a passionate, original work of art and turning it into mass produce and profit.
    In the end, Audrey learns what Wilson and even Joey Drew failed to do - to accept the ink machine's twisted world for what it is. To recognise its merit and learn to appreciate it with all its flaws. She brings artistic integrity back into Bendy's world by becoming part of it and working to make it a more peaceful place.

    Fantastic video Pastra. I would like to partially disagree on the analysis of the Ink Demon’s final monologue though. It was more than just projection, it was the Ink Demon’s twisted form of empathy, while also serving as a demand for validation. Nothing he says in that scene is a lie or even that inaccurate. Audrey’s road was very much broken, she had no legs and was probably like a few minutes away from dying. She had believed herself human all her life, only to discover she was born from the same ink that made the Cycle’s hellscape. Thus, “her very existence was a terrible lie.”
    While calling her a monster and a mistake was mainly the Ink Demon echoing what Joey had once called him, it’s worth pointing out that he probably full believes it’s true for both of them, because Audrey IS just like the Ink Demon. She is a soulless creature Joey Drew made using the ink machine. That’s why he’s so obsessed with Audrey willingly merging with him. The Ink Demon completely internalized the label of a demon after being tortured all that time, so the idea that he suffered for NOTHING all this time causes a sort of cognitive dissonance. He needs to prove that Audrey is a monster like him, because otherwise everything the Ink Demon has done would effectively be meaningless. He would have nothing left, nothing to define him. He can’t be Bendy, Joey already drove that point home. So he must be a monster, right? And so, Audrey must be a monster too. To the Ink Demon, his offer at the end of the game is genuinely meant to comfort Audrey, prove she isn’t alone in her grief, that they can be strong together and take revenge on those that harmed them.
    This is important for the ending, because it signifies that Audrey did what Joey failed to do by allowing the Ink Demon to *choose* who he wants to be, allowing him to reclaim the Bendy identity he had abandoned after Joey rejected him.

      Literally the only thing I would wish they had in the game is an actual conversation between Bendy and Henry. Like, the Ink Demon couldn't talk in the first game, but now he evolved to be able to speak and he clearly harbors pain and trauma from being abandoned by his creators. Even though Henry turning around and running from the Ink Demon in BATIM'S Ch-1 is one of the most important scenes in the franchise, it's never elaborated upon for some reason.
      The finale could've been made even better if Henry and the Ink Demon had their own confrontation, where Henry fully affirms that he knows that the little devil darling that he created more than 30 years ago is still somewhere in that monstrous body and that he believes that the Ink Demon can choose to be more than a rage-fueled abomination. It could be a mirrored version of the final scene between Memory!Joey and Audrey, with Bendy finally choosing the let Audrey show him The End and giving himself a chance.

It's so intense to see this tall slender monster who is still trying to keep the Bendy design but still definitely a demon. A limping corpse with a horrid smile just brushing pass by your little miracle station.
    Edit: this is not me hating on the Ink Demon's new design. I absolutely love it, I just wish we could actually see him roam around the areas more. Or at least when we were in Miracle Stations. I just want to see a lurking demon, literally crawling around the environments and even checking in hiding places for you. If anything I kind of wish there was a bit both, having the original form come back as a transition form from Ink Demon to Bendy and vice versa. Seeing the cartoon baby slowly get larger and dropping more and more of it's original features for more horror.

There are some strong parallels between the in-game story and the actual development process, even in the sequel. The somewhat more realistic atmosphere combined with the "grundge" that it has gives off a much stronger feeling of a place that's been abandoned by everyone. This, combined with the protagonist having a few mystical ways to deal with monsters gave off so many vibes akin to how I felt when I played bioshock 1 for the first time. Its even better that the keepers would not feel out of place in Bioshock, just as a lot of the inhuman enemies from that game would fit well in Bendy if given a new coat of paint (or Ink if you prefer.)

    Something I really like about the dialogues on the ending is that, in Joey´s final dialogue "Just a pencil and a dream... Isn´t enough. You have to have... heart" is a line that really hurts the Ink Demon because he had always have a heart, damn he´s heart beat is one of his main characteristic being an alert signal to know when he is near, and one of the most iconic sound effects of the Demon and Joey telling him that he could have been something good and beautiful even without a soul of his own (which was the reason they though the Ink Demon was a failure, but at the end we see it wasn´t) like we see with Audrey and with him actually achieving this in his "contained" form, is something that truly piss him off. Because if he had received the loved and compassion Audrey received from the world and their father Joey Drew, he might have become the Bendy he was supposed to be and not the monster and demon he actually became. And that´s also why he killed Joey with so much hatred and wanted to make Audrey part of him because; consuming Audrey would mean that no matter how you were treated, if you are born from the ink you are destined to be a monster like the Ink Demon and that Joey was only capable of making monsters like him, something that gave him confort. And killing Joey the way he did just recemblen how much the Demon hated that his father, how he hated Joey Drew for giving Audrey all the love that he never got and all that compassion that was stolen from him by his creator.

This is probably hinting that there's a 3rd game in the works, probably featuring Gent as the main villains and that they want to use the Ink Machine for some unknown purpose.

    I really like how they handled the whole Jekyll and Hyde thing with Bendy in this game. See, a lot other games with this trope of your best buddy and worst enemy being two sides of the same coin have at least some sort of heartwarming and/or gut-wrenching "they're still in there" moment. Something like if the Ink Demon had Audrey cornered and about to kill her, but suddenly "remembered all the good times" for a moment and held himself back. This isn't a bad trope at all, mind you, and it's great for the feels.
    But honey, this is a _horror_ game, a _Bendy_ game no less. The only "feels" here are despair and terror.
    What makes it work so good in this it's that it's a TRUE Jekyll and Hyde scenario where neither side ever bleeds into the other. Ink Demon is not Lil' Bendy going berserk. Lil' Bendy is not Ink Demon made friendly. For all intents and purposes, they are two completely separate people. It really is as if BATIM Ink Bendy's "cartoon demon" form was split in half: the "cartoon" side becoming Lil Bendy, and the "demon" side becoming BATDR Ink Demon. Wilson may have lied about killing Bendy, but maybe there was some truth to when he said he "tore the Ink Demon in two."
    What's even more neat is once this is revealed, you now by proxy have an emotional attachment to the Ink Demon. Soon after, you can't help but be at least a little upset hearing that the Keepers tortured Ink Demon as well as Lil' Bendy. The game makes you gaslight yourself into thinking you and Ink Demon are somehow on even slightly better terms, which it even more explicitly enables in Chapter 5 when the Ink Demon talks to Audrey _without_ threatening her, even warning her of Wilson's lies and calling him out for torturing him. I kid you not, when I was watching Pastra's stream and saw him show up to finish off Shipahoy Wilson, I said "Please be friendly" out loud. But no. This thing does not love you back in the slightest. He does not secretly want to be your friend as Lil' Bendy. Hell, he's not even thankful that you freed him _from_ Lil' Bendy. He is THE Ink Demon. As fun as it would have been, it honestly might have really downplayed just how damn intimidating they made Ink Bendy in this game if his monstrous form showed even the possibility of being "tamable".
    (except ignore everything I juST SAID YOU ACTUALLY DO SORTA HAPPEN IN A DIFFERENT WAY THEY PULL A FREAKING SUPER MARIO ODYSSEY AND IT THE COOLEST FREAKING THING THE WORLD)
    ...That's what I was planning to comment on going into this, and then I got to the end of the video. I did notice Ink Bendy's projection, but I didn't really get a chance to think about it too much with all that craziness that was going on. They way you went into just _how much_ he was projecting onto someone he shares almost _nothing_ in common with was way more eye opening than I expected. In his effort to bring Audrey as low as possible, he says the most hurtful and painful things he can think of. And I mean, no wonder he's so laser-focused on Audrey; in a way, she's exactly what he was SUPPOSED to be: Joey's greatest creation, spawned directly from the Ink Machine (which begs the question of why she has a soul when Bendy didn't, but that's a whole 'nother can of worms, especially when you factor in a certain note from Joey that Pastra missed in his playthrough.
    You genuinely made me start questioning just _how_ "split" Bendy's split personality actually is. I mean, the Ink Demon mimicking the same friendly gesture Audrey greeted Lil' Bendy with is proof enough that he IS by some means aware of what Lil' Bendy gets up to, and Lil' Bendy is known to possess similar powers to his Ink Demon self, like phasing through walls and being unkillable. After freeing the Ink Demon, he seems to switch back and forth somewhat frequently, showing up as Lil Bendy a few times, but once you actually see the transformation, Lil' Bendy, who's our friend by that point, doesn't really even look at us and just walks away in shame, never revealing himself to us in that form again once we know the truth, perhaps thinking there's no way we'd still wanna be friends (he's wrong fyi). If the Ink Demon was able to be turned into something/someone like Lil' Bendy, that would likely mean it'd had to have been a part of him. The way they made Ink Bendy from this unthinking entity of malice and rage to an actualy character with so much potential nuance is astonishing.
    God this game, man. It answers so much and still leaves you so much more to think about, and it's simply amazing.

    • @mrreyes5004
      @mrreyes5004 2 года назад +60

      I quite agree with this analysis. During the game's development, I was worried that the devs would just keep the Ink Demon as a personality-less rage monster. But then BATDR came around and actually gave him a nuanced character with serious developmental potential. As you said, the Ink Demon's laser-focused hatred for Audrey makes sense: he is essentially jealous of how she was born "perfect" while he was abandoned as a "mistake".

      I personally think that in BATIM, he was a character who was just very spiteful. He had grown accustomed to sadness and anger and henceforth nearly couldn't feel anything positive. However, he was not pure evil because whereas BATDR ink demon is always shown as a fearless demon fueled by anger, BATIM bendy was shown to, during the projectionist scene, display mercy and did actually panic, displaying fear, when the END was played.
      Tl;dr
      In BATIM, he is a satanic Grinch
      In BATDR, he is liquid dalek

    • @mrreyes5004
      @mrreyes5004 2 года назад +23

      @@jeanremi8384 I would go even further and theorize that the Ink Demon in BATDR is a natural evolution of how he was back in BATIM. In the first game, Ink Bendy was basically a husk full of rage and fear, with only slight traces of human-like intelligence. In the second game, however, the added time as well as Wilson's experiments caused Bendy to forcibly grow in intelligence and in other emotions (whereas before he only had small traces of them).
      In BATIM, he was pretty much an abused child lashing out at everything around him. By the time BATDR happens, he's more like a teen who has become smarter (which is why he can talk now), but it also means that he can show more sides of him that he couldn't possess/display back then. This is why his normal monster form is bigger and stronger than his design in BATIM, because Ink Bendy grew up in the same way that little simple-minded kids grow up into more complex adults. And it's why he can now turn into little Bendy who represents the child-like fear, sadness and curiosity that lies underneath his monstrous exterior.
      The Little Bendy form of BATDR's Ink Demon basically embodies the mercy and deeper emotions that the BATIM Ink Demon only had bits and traces of without the same anger, while the base monster Ink Bendy form of BATDR's Ink Demon represents the same rage and power of the BATIM Ink Demon except now with added intelligence and maturity. People in real-life have different sides of their complex personality, so BATDR Ink Demon having two forms that embody the different parts of him perfectly represents how much he grew from his BATIM self.

    Outside of bendy, the slicer has to be my favorite horror monster.
    Not only does it attack at random, is unkillable, and unpredictable, she’s my favorite cause she’s completely optional.
    It was fun watching people’s playthroughs, then they reach that moment and open the box out of curiousity, and i inew this was gonna be a fun watch.
    She is basically the embodiment of “curiousity killed the cat” if she was the curiousity, and you the cat.
    She is a punishment for looking into something that you shouldn’t. The whole game has you believe to check everything that you can interact with, and actually lulls you into a false sense of security. You had no reasons at that point to be cautious, as every locker and trashcan helped you, so you’d thinkmthe same for the crate, not knowing that you’ve just unleashed one of your worse enemies.
    In a way, it teaches you to not fully trust in everything, as you might make your situation worse.
    I love subversions like these. Especially when they have long-term effects, even if you were unaware.
    After all, a good horror game makes you afraid of even the things you thought were safe.

      I think that is a very similar mechanic to the 'silent spider splicers' in BioShock. Basically if you go looking around in the Fort Frolic level you find a room that contains a weapon upgrade and a ton of these plastered figures (that curiously bleed when struck). If you follow through and get to the upgrade the lights flicker and one of the figures attacks you immediately. And from that point on these fuckers are gonna be all around the level. They act like regular spider splicers, climbing up the walls and throwing hooks at ya, but with one key difference. They are completely silent. Other splicers have dialogue options so you can tell where they are but these plastered splicers are silent making them much harder to deal with. They freaked me out when I first played the game and the upgrade was only semi worth the hassle honestly.

    Now that the sequel to this series has been released, I think it’s clear that this game is a love letter (design-wise) to the Bioshock and Epic Mickey games. The hallways of the studio are very similar to the tunnels in the underwater city of Rapture, the music being an ominous loop of songs from the 1930’s and 40’s, and more direct references being the audio logs we find and Joey Drew acting in a similar way to Andrew Ryan. (Oh and the cartoon city window in Dark Revival REALLY being a reference to the opening of Bioshock.)
    In relation to Epic Mickey, I think the toon style art direction is very similar, and the story revolving around former cartoon studio creations gone horribly wrong.
    I’m actually pleased to see these elements being used in a game! I grew up with those titles and enjoying the environments and best of all, the horror and scary elements. I hope the next generation appreciates it.

    the original game gives the feeling of a chaotic world, forced together and constantly breaking and remaking itself- an unstable, feral mess of a world, just like what Joey intended to create- a hell. The original world was chaotic, it was a living, breathing catastrophe.
    And then Dark Revival comes in.
    DR's version of The Studio is seen as much more organized, with established lore, titles, characters, places strung together in a mostly coherent manner. It's a much, much more organized way of life for those in The Studio, as if The Studio and everyone in it has evolved into something more civilized. But it still keeps that feeling that everything is falling apart, but it feels like someone's just taking it apart instead.

    In all seriousness, it overjoys me that not only is BATDR finally here, but it's also leaps and bounds ahead of its predecessor. It was a long three years, but it sure as heck was worth it. And honestly, Pastra's enthusiasm and love for this franchise makes the experience even more enjoyable personally.
    Sure is good to be a Bendy fan.

    Something I noticed in Chapter 0 (Real world part, Piper encounter, Allison encounter, ect) is that it has a small reference to something that happens in Chapter 5 of the original game. When we first meet Allison, she holds Audrey's arm for a few seconds before quickly taking her hand off it and saying "Don't touch me!". This IMMEDIATELY called me back to the finale of Bendy and the Ink Machine, where Allison and Tom couldn't go with Henry into the ink machine because, as she says, "A drop of water in the ocean is rarely seen again".
    Edit: Nevermind, I think Audrey said that, still a fun thought though.

    Mainly because even if it is your own commuppance, Carly's biggest inconvience is spooking you- she isn't that much of a threat beyond just the scare-
    the Ink Demon has so much going in the atmosphere, that while you DREAD him coming, the moments last sooo much longer making the fear far more vibrant.

    I have always been confused at Wilson being very angry at his Father. But now knowing that Bendy mainly represents his Father makes a ton more sense. No wonder he's been torturing the Ink Demon. He's even been torturing poor Bendy too :c

    • @mrreyes5004
      @mrreyes5004 2 года назад +27

      It's honestly also fitting, because the Ink Demon can oddly _relate_ to Wilson because the Ink Demon has reasons to hate both Henry AND Joey who were his own creators, the same way Wilson hated his father. The Ink Demon and Wilson are also neat Foils to each other as characters; Wilson was a pathetic and envious rat who tried to make himself out to be a glorious hero, while Bendy was a genuine good guy cartoon who was abused into monstrosity.

    • @mrreyes5004
      @mrreyes5004 2 года назад +12

      @@hollowwoods7130 True, but a large number of people have theorized that when the Ink Demon lunged through the boarded-up wall at Henry in Chapter 1 of BATIM, he wasn't actually trying to attack Henry; he was actually just trying to reach out to him from behind the boards. Henry obviously ran away, and the Ink Demon interpreted that to mean that another of his creators abandoned him because he wasn't created perfectly.
      Of course, Henry didn't know about anything Joey was doing and Henry didn't mean anything by it (bc the Ink Demon IS terrifying to look at). But even without that earlier incident, the Ink Demon probably also despised Henry for abandoning the studio 30 years before because that meant Henry wasn't around to stop his cartoon creations (ie. Bendy) from being abused and experimented on by Joey and Gent Corporation. I'm not saying Henry is any kind of villain, because he had no way of knowing that Joey would go on to perform such atrocities. But from the Ink Demon's perspective, it looked like his true creator/father left him behind to be experimented on and locked up by greedy false-creators just because he didn't look exactly like the original cartoon that Henry made. The Ink Demon was so pained and isolated that he was inevitably going to lump Henry in with Joey and other people who screwed the Ink Demon over due to Henry being his actual creator (AKA the indirect cause of the Ink Demon's suffering as a failed copy).

    • @TheChildoftheDarkness

      @@mrreyes5004 No. There's a hidden tape recorded by Wilson that implies that he isn't all that talentless and worthless as Pastra says (damn he mocked him). And if you'd read "The Lost Ones" you'd know that the Ink Demon was always MEANT to be a failure, that didn't realize its true nature and purpose yet, but by the games's events, starting with BATDS, it did.

    The Thing I like about BATDR is how much improvement they made to the Ink Demon in this game. Seriously, every time he appears, you get this sense of panic in you because you can't see him coming. Plus the model just looks way more better then how he looked in the original game. He looks more like an actual demon, when you get a good look at him in cutscenes.
    How I see his redesign is more on how Christianity has described demons to be. For example, normally in western media today, we normally know what a typical demon looks like. A person that had red skin along with very long black horns. But with demons in Christianity around the 18th century, demons along with Satan himself were originally described as goats that Witches would offer sacrifices or offerings. And ironically enough, Bendy is shown to have Goat like hooves as feet. Kinda like how Demons and Satan himself were originally portrayed as in Christianity before the modern era. Which is a pretty interesting detail not going to lie. Who knows. Maybe in the next Bendy game revolving around the cycle in the future, maybe we could get a group of people that are witches that always warships the Ink Demon (kinda like Sammy) and always without fail, offer sacrifices or offerings to him as a way make him happy.
    By the way, if you guys are just trying to look for the source of this piece of information I got from Christianity , then I recommend you look at something called "Animals of Evil". Where it shows an Oil painting made in the 18 century around Europe that describes a type of gathering of people being called witches that would offer sacrifices or offerings to Satan himself. It's genuinely interesting, I recommended it.
    Edit: Also I love the fourth member of the Butcher Gang. Carley. She is genuinely kinda like a troll within the Bendy franchise. No really, I'm being serious here. She is just like a troll, that loves to freak people out, just because she can. Carley, you are my favorite member of the Butcher Gang. Carley, lets mess with Pastra together. Shall we? :)

    I think one of my favorite little details is that when you sit there long enough, you can start to hear the music a lot better, more loudly. I’m a chronic hider, no matter what, I’ll always manage to hide in a box or locker for far too long (like, for minutes) and I’m not sure if this is something meant to happen, or if my brain fabricated it, but the longer I’d wait in a hiding place, the louder the music became, making the atmosphere a bit more panic inducing. It’s like the game is telling you to move on already, that the longer you wait, the more likely it is you’re gonna regret it. I do hope that this isn’t just something my brain put together itself, because it’s such a cool idea. It goes along with Alison telling you in the beginning to not stick around one spot for too long, as well as, well, the longer you stick around in one area, the Ink Demon’s gonna spawn there at any moment.

Also, the two limbed arm can be seen as an homage to the drill arm that Subject Delta has. This is probably due to the fact that BioShock serves as the main inspiration for Bendy.
