You know I forgot something important. In the most recent trailer we see hera get captured by orcs and a Snow troll. And who comes and saves her? Her father (a man). I also love it! That's how it should be. A father should come rescue his daughter. But my point is, definitely not a very " girl boss" in the negative sence that people are saying before we even seen the movie... 😊😮
Good video. I really do like a fireside chat. I am looking forward to WOTR. Agree with you when saying that some trailers have been good, others have been weird. I have never been drawn to anima, and so hoping this style doesn’t get in the way of my viewing. But it’s Tolkien and the stills look beautiful. So I’m excited
Firesound for now needs to be 1-2dB less, just a good little nudge - but a fysical fire crackle? That would be cool indeed! It'll blend in very easily recording-wise :D
Not saying that people can’t have their opinions about enjoying or not enjoying RoP or War of the Rohirrim but I can only hope it’s a good adaptation, and am cautiously optimistic, or at least interesting even if it’s not the same as the source material and I get it likely won’t and I’m prepared for that. The issue was that RoP to me just wasn’t *interesting.*
Tbh, I was extremely surprised when The War of the Rohirrim chose a female - more specifically Helm's unnamed daughter - as the chosen heroine of the movie. That doesn't mean that I won't like or like her as a character. I was kind of hoping the nephew, the one who succeeds the throne, gets the spotlight - but that could just be me. I'm not bashing the female roles here, just asking for more variety -- and I'm sure I'm not the only one. There are very little movie examples of Aragorn's strong character nowadays and women seem to be the new norm for heroes of the story. I'm not necessarily against it - being a girl myself - but for me I would love to see something outside the norm portray Professor Tolkien's stories with his mindset in a positive light - not this squishy washy attitude Professor Tolkien never made up his mind about his story's history. *Slams head against a tree* Granted, Professor Tolkien came from a different time and different universe almost and he's got many, many strong female characters such as Luthien the Fair, Arwen's mother Celebrian (mother of the sons of Elrond), Melian the Miaa wife of Thingol, and especially Aragorn's mother and so many more. That is probably my only stance: if you choose a female character, don't change her - like Amazon did to Galadriel, Rings of Power - or add a female character that won't really align with Professor Tolkien's views either.
I also think that helm will still be the hero in the original ways. For example the new preview they gave us she gets captured by a snow troll and her father a man saves her in that. I think that was very realistic and very awesome. Thanks for your thoughts too! 😊👍
The claim that there’s no strong women in LOTR has been there since Tolkien first wrote it and he rebuked those claims and rightfully so. He had a lot of strong women characters. Aside from his wife and daughter, his mother was also a huge inspiration of his work I would say. The only criticism that annoyed me was one that it 'contained no religion' (and 'no Women', but that does not matter, and is not true anyway). (Letter 165) Perhaps what you’re seeing is that people tend to needlessly try to compare Tolkien’s works to modern times like with Amazon RoP Galadriel. 👀😊
hello there. you're so on point, i love it. wait until you saw to give an opinion,. about the nerd of the ring paid by amazon, omg you're serious !! i must say tho, that you zollin, like return to moria. how so ? because it's a good game ? no i know the truth, i've seen the video, you 've been paid with mountains of gold, i've seen it, you even built a fortress with that gold !!! this durin pays you with gold and silver and leather, and oat !! the orcs are not the enemy !! it is the corruption !!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
Impossible for you to know that yet. Also, I respect your opinion. but, the trailer we say of her being captured by a snow troll and then being saved by her father (a man) dose not give me a girl boss vibe. It gives me a very realistic vibe.

I truly hope it's not a girl boss!
FYI, I like the fire sounds! I actually didn't notice the sound until half way in the video lol 😂

It could sound like a George Foreman grill, lol.
It depends - in the USA is out 12/13 though in at least some other countries it’s out 12/5. So some people may have seen it.

In Japan maybe? That makes sense. But the reviews they are using are not from japen. They are USA... So, my point still stands
@@VoiceoftheRings interesting 👀 was first released in Brazil on 12/4. But yeah, most of the world hasn’t seen it yet.

Hahahaha 😂🤣 good joke my friend. Yes all that in game gold! 😊🤪😂
After all this time! Btw, It is a bad movie; a girl-boss current year propaganda movie coated with animé.
