My father had a credo he would recite on suitable occasions: "Rust never sleeps, gravity is always waiting, sharp tools watch your eyes". If he was still around today, I guess he would have to add Covid to the list! Glad you're on the mend.
Yeah COVID sucks. I think I'm just dealing with constant congestion in my sinuses. I was fortunate to not have any of that lasting brain fog, or ringing in the ears.
Hi Brian great to see you are still alive and kicking we don't see you much on the discord these days . WOW Flood coolant that will be a game changer for your machine , more videos of it as it progresses please Brian Cheers Bill from Australia
Yeah trying to get back into it from a small hiatus. Flood cooling is something I’ve wanted to get setup from the beginning. I stopped after the main chip pan to finish upgrading the machine. This top skirt is probably the last big part. I think I’ll have to weld together some mounting parts where the hole is in the bottom of the chip pan but after that it should mostly be about doing plumbing. I don’t know how practical running it with flood cooling will be but being a hobby it doesn’t really matter.
