Also, I find many female comedians to be very funny, Sarah Silverman, Amy Poeller, Tina Fey, ect.
You are correct, technically canada is a "constitutional monarchy". But I meant to contrast canada and the UK with america(which is a republic, with the rights of the minority ensrined in the constitution and not up for debate). Canada has "the charter of rights and freedoms" but it a much more luke warm document then the bill of rights or constitution.

As a matter of fact, the 14th amendment to the US constitution gave everyone ("excluding Indians not taxed") the right to vote, regardless of race. But, uh, that wasn't the reality. Law and how things actually work are two different things.
