This video is a brief overview of the materials and finishes that are most often used in the manufacturing of rigging fittings, cable, and chain. The two main types of materials used is Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel. Stainless Steel types discussed in the video are Type 304 and Type 316. Carbon Steel finishes can be Hot Dipped Galvanized, Electro Zinc Plated, Yellow Zinc Chromate, Powder Coated, or Self Colored.
