Depending on which quick connect you have when you ingage the quick connect button you use the joy stick to curl your bucket all the way and hold it there when it pressures up it will activate the little cylinder on the quick connect and it will begin to move its in the locked position now you will haft to unlock it attach your bucket and lock it back
Remember to put date and hrs on the filters fuel, oil and air don't depend on memory or a sticker. Look at manual see how many hrs between service.and you may want to drain and fill the hydraulic system and change that filter also. We did our mini equipment every 250 hrs oil and fuel , hydro and final drives yearly..... Grease every day prior to working it......there should be a button for the bucket lock may be on the joy stick or the control panel... have not had a yanmar in years we have Deere and takahuchi
Gday guys, If I can make a suggestion, drain the final drives and refill in case of old sludgey lube oil. People always seem to leave and forget to service them. Old oil in the final drives can get very expensive! I’d recommend draining the hydraulic fluid as completely as you can too and changing the filter. Give the machine a good run to mix up any potential moisture in the hydraulic fluid and then drain it. Hydraulic systems naturally build up moisture over time anyway from heating and cooling and moist air condensing in the tank. Oil and water always seperate and the condensed water will sit in the lower parts under the oil such as the pumps. It causes corrosion and the rust flakes cause mayhem with the close tolerances of valves, seals etc. There will be a procedure/sequence to run that bucket connect ram. I bet that’s all that is. Nice buy guys, Cheers 👍👍
It's very important to keep the area between track and the rollers clean. If you leave all that dirt and debris in there it will freeze over the winter. It will also cause premature wear on the drives and rollers as well as the tracks.
You machine is equipped with a quick-attached coupler. Where the bucket attaches, there is a safety lock pin. Safety pin needs to be removed in order to the coupler can move back and forward. I hope that helps! Let us know if that machine is for sale soon please.
Don't forget to check the drive cases for water and the hydraulic oil filter and give the thing an all over pressure wash because you might find more problems . Those machines are pretty good .cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
I am so looking forward to you guys getting this up and running like new. Like the skid steer it was awesome watching you guys dive into something you knew nothing about and figuring it out. Hope you take the time to clean it up maybe paint and make it look brand new. Best of luck
Good purchase on your yanmar machine. First thing i want to say is when you buy anything give it a good clean up before tackling any repairs. This gives you a good indication what needs attention immediately by visibility. I think you need to get a pin for the bucket to lock in. Look forward to more videos.
1) Get yourselves an operators manual and read it before attempting to attach accessories. 2) Watch out for overhead wires before one or all of you die.
you have to hook that back part of the bucket before you grab the second pin [two pins to hook up on the quick connect]. Watch Andrew Camarata work on his Yanmar [he has a vew videos where he replaces part of the controls and fixes the track and yada yada' he's the dude to check out for Yanmar mid size excavators.
one "hook" on the arm is stationary you hook that into the far pin, then the hook that is hydraulic slides up under the forward pin it's called a quick release. yamar owners manual online will show the how-to and which lever/pedal to pull/push
I would however just completely change hydraulic fluid and filter so clutch’s hydraulic cylinders on boom work normal, and make sure you watch a video on how to get pressure out of lines
The switch on your right should retract the quick coupler hydraulic cylinder. It's been close to 10 years since I last operated a Yamnar but if I remember correctly you turn a switch and the machine starts beeping and then you push the green button and it pulls back on the cylinder. Once your bucket pins are lined up you push the green button again and the cylinder opens back up. Then you turn the switch back to the operating position and close the little water protective cover.
That engine will suck dirt. Air filter housing is shot - That is the first line of defense for the engine. Bucket quick coupler :ruclips.net/video/BMsByhEqaSY/видео.html
I like it when you take on projects like this. It's a little different from the norm, but the Niko Brothers style shines thru. I'm hoping that someone is getting footage of the house builds... yours and your Dad's and you can bring us up to date on all of that sometime soon. I absolutely LOVE to see "Dream Shop" builds. You guys are in a sprawling complex of sorts there... and so i wonder if you have any plans on erecting a new building that would serve you better.... like the Holden Bros did. THAT would be super cool... I think there is a lot of benefit to owning some earth moving equipment no matter what sort of project you take on - and you guys are ideally placed to share a lot of that with us.
Not bad on price looks like a money maker If anything you tube it 😂 Love you guys channel Any updates on the RV from Texas I was looking at it also It seem to be in great shape With the exspection the axle
Hey Niko brother a nother great video on your channel that DUrrrrtymax still looks good in the background u definitely my favorite RUclipsr how is your new house coming along
Great machine ..I like it .. normally there will be a button which activates extra functions on the excavators. when you activate the button you can do other/extra functions. the button can be electrically controlled or the button/handle can control hydraulic oil in another direction (for the additional functions) Best regauard MICHELL NORWAY 🚜👍🏻
Regarding the bucket, my non equipment operator idea is that you need to make the two curved pieces go towards each other, then attach bucket and then expand those points the opposite way you made them shrink in distance. Look up kubota pin graber here on RUclips, it looks similar
Nothing wrong with your machine, all systems are hydraulic so nothing electrical controls your machine bucket, boom, or tracks. You need to watch a video on quick release buckets, you are not lining up right and in the right order, it will work fine just see a video and use your stick to roll like it shows you.
Maybe it's addressed in comments earlier but the PO wrote the hours from the hourmeter on the air, oil and fuel filters so you can tell how long it's been since the last change. Go back and do the same to your fresh set..!
You need to invest in a whole bunch of concrete around the outside of the shop, would make life so much easier when your working on or cleaning the cars etc
Till next time. Do not por old diesel into a new filter. The solder connections you showed is not that great. Try to solder one as a test and cut it in half. Then you get the answer. 😂
Yes Michel red diesel in Tractors and excavators. Here in the UK the Police do spot checks on vehicles as some people try to run cars on red diesel which is illegal! ( No or low tax on red diesel?). I am no expert on these things but your last attempt to attach the bucket was the right way around. It seems to me that there must be a safety lock to squeeze so the 'jaws' will close up more. The 'C' shape jaws will then fit on the tubes. The lock means that you then cannot drop the bucket by accident, if that makes sense? Hope you sort it out soon. 🦴👍👍
If I was you guys i would build custom shelf for al The cars in youre backyard. As The copart has. SURE it need realy heay build. But you save alot of space! O btw I don't mean machin operated!
Cherry Juice , red fuel is used for engines that power off-road vehicles, as well as machines like tractors and bulldozers that are used on farms and at construction sites..
I don't know that machine. But most of the machines I have worked on. You have to roll the bucket all the way under and push the button and hold the lever all the way and hold it until the coupler is open
Hey Ivan I came by a couple days ago and said hey I know how to run that machine I need to come by and look at it but I think I can help you get the bucket hooked up and give you some points on how to run it
Guys come on why change a fuel filter then pour the old fuel into the new filter.
I was expecting the fuel to be dirty and then hear him say: "Why did I do that?"
Use transmission fluid instead, it’ll clean the injectors. Also change that water separator too.
Yeah I thought exactly the same
😢

Put the date or the machine hrs on the new filters 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧

To install the bucket, remove the pin on the bucket. After hooking up the bucket reinstall the pin..
Good idea write date of the service you all did 👍✅👀

naw keep it rusty and crusty and divert the efforts to the tech and mech of it ................pick up a service parts manual tooooo
About 20 yards of gravel in your yard to start would be nice 👌
Hey Michael. Remove the pin from the bucket..slide through holes iñ the arm to attach after you have the hook in the bucket
Good purchase on your yanmar machine.

total BEDWETTER!
@@robdrew2745 Hahaha, they literally don't know what way the bucket goes on but I'm a bedwetter. 😂

Great find,Great deal 👍 guys.
You did good. For the hours shown on the filters. Hope you figure out what's up with the bucket attachment.
Never put fuel from old filter into the new filter
I think Ivan was the little brother who broke stuff and Michel always go the blame😂
Seems like the new duramax truck behind u never gets used
Never put the old fuel new filter. You'll run a little bit and have to replace it again
Guys, make sure you stay away from the overhead power lines. I have seen guys get to close it, blow the machine, and kill the operator.
one "hook" on the arm is stationary you hook that into the far pin, then the hook that is hydraulic slides up under the forward pin it's called a quick release. yamar owners manual online will show the how-to and which lever/pedal to pull/push
Would be further off the ground with the bucket on? Jet wash the track rollers 🇬🇧🇬🇧👍👍
Dig out your shop entrance and pour a slab.
I would however just completely change hydraulic fluid and filter so clutch’s hydraulic cylinders on boom work normal, and make sure you watch a video on how to get pressure out of lines
This is like watching a cub bear f..... a football. 🤣🤣🤣
Ask Andrew Caramatta. That guy knows it all about heavy equipment.
And you definitely got a damn good deal… they run for 18 to 30k up used
Why would you put contaminated diesel from the old filter into the new filter
Would love to see some gravel or even concrete out side the shop!! But I will keep watching

U all check hydraulic fluid 🤔
You should also change the oil in the final drives in the tracks since they are would have been submerged.

Wrongly fitted buckets have been known to fall off and fatalities have occured, take extreme care until you know exactly what you're doing!
grease and change all fiiuds and check electrical connects with spray
I was just thinking about Scrub the other day and was wondering how he was doing. Glad to see he's doing good!

All heavy equipment has to be easy to service. And... DO NOT use the boom that way!! You have such a small point and can easily tip it over.

You need to invest in a whole bunch of concrete around the outside of the shop, would make life so much easier when your working on or cleaning the cars etc
You almost had it, back of arm go in first then out side, y’all get it, it’s quite simple.
What about water in track drives, service advised.
Have you some pipes missing to small cyl to pinch bucket on or off could not see well
Wash it then check drive oils good buy
i believe your trying to put the bucket on backwards'
Till next time. Do not por old diesel into a new filter. The solder connections you showed is not that great. Try to solder one as a test and cut it in half. Then you get the answer. 😂
Ask Diesel Creek for help, he knows a lot of excavators

Great job. Not afraid to tackle different things. Find me F450!!
Time to find a RUclips video on how to operate the controls.
Whatever happened to the nice burgundy pick up truck you guys rebuilt to use for hauling cars? @Niko Brothers
You guys are the hardest working on RUclips, we would love to work with you one day.
Yanmar is a very nice brand.
$1 a pound that's a good deal.
Haha buck a pound
i'm pretty sure the bucket lock is hydraulic and not electric
ruclips.net/video/vWTWFDo_5rw/видео.html for bucket connection at the beginning of his video.
Hook it from the bottom, then hook it to the top
Press button on hand control and pull or push the lever at the same time
I think there's a pin in bucket to take out when it line up put the pin back to secure.
Why did you tip the old fuel in to the new filter? now you have all the crap in a new filter, that's just dumb.

Contact John from Upstate Brush Control , his Utube cannel is a great on and I think he is in your area .
Looks like you stole it!! Great price
You sort of look like NBA great Luka Doncic.
You never dump the fuel out of old filter into the new one because of the crap in the old filter.
Hey Ivan I came by a couple days ago and said hey I know how to run that machine I need to come by and look at it but I think I can help you get the bucket hooked up and give you some points on how to run it
@Niko_Brothers hey your house is going to be nice where is the pool going lol
That a great ideal ,pour that dirty diesel into the new filter
10 hour drive = 500 miles. What do you figure operating cost with your truck and trailer is, fuel, wear etc per mile? $1.00-1.50?
It showed u open an close the job on the open for bucket so it will not come off
This was tough to watch

Whats happening to the red chevy duramax?
No no no, pouring contaminated fuel from an old fuel filter to another, that's a no no,
