Driving the car with passion for last 15 years! Owned almost all fiats landed in India; palio 1.2,1.6,1.9D, 1.1 stile😀 Linea tjet , multijet. Love it ❤️
For the americans, you may want to read a bit about some really cool Fiats, that were never sold in North America: -Fiat Coupé -Uno Turbo (or the history of the Uno in general) -Fiat S76 (world speed record car of 100 years ago, DO look it up!!) -Fiat Mephistopheles When your history with Fiat consists basically of 500 variants, you can't really tell how awesome this brand is. ;)
You are just not old enough. My first NEW car was a 1971 Fiat 124 Spider, followed by a new 1973 Fiat 124 Sport Coupe and a new 1973 Fiat 128 SL Coupe for my wife. Next came a 1978 Fiat Dino Spider that I imported from Italy to Seattle, WA for $3,300 including a factory hard top on the car. Then came a new 1976 Lancia Scorpion, which I still have, and then last June I found my 2019 Abarth 124 Spider with only 4,500 miles on her. So, there was much more to fall in love with Fiat over if you are old enough.
When i was 18 i had a Fiat 127 spesial 1977, and it was so great fun to drive. It gave me a good feeling every time i drove it for two years. Finally... now 24 years later, the feeling is back with my Fiat 500 twinair. I think its love.. Owning an Abarth is #1 on the bucket list
I'm an Italian fan of yours, and I have to say that, sadly, you mispronounce every name in both this and the video about Gucci. But I'm willing to help you out on the tricky Italian pronunciation, if you want to.
English speaking people are often lazy ignorants who do not investigate how other languages sound and how to pronounce many words, they stupidly believe every language is the same as English. Simply idiotic.
I learnt to drive in a Fiat 600 Multipla in the late '60's. Family friends hired one while on vacation in Italy, loved it so much that they imported it to South Africa. I bought the Fiat Doblo 1.3 JTD when it won the European Panel Van of the year in two categories. I sold it after eight years and bought the Fiat Fiorini 1.3 JTD.
How is it girly? It's simply a beautiful car, whether you're a man or a woman. If you're unsure about your manliness, you can still go for the Abarth versions. ;-)
Don´t judge but FIAT is my favourite car manufacturer in terms of design. I love FIAT´s designs, especially the cars from 90s and 2000s (yes, even the Multipla...quite). PS. I prefer the FIAT over Mini.
Fiat only bought all these american brands because while the whole world was drowning in the 2008 crisis, the brazilian division was making so much money, they didn't know what to do with it. hahah Here in Brazil Fiat also got it's "Fix it again Tony" equivalent, here they say Fiat means "Ferro Italiano Atrapalhando Transito" (Italian Iron jamming transit ) lol. Yeah brazilian Fiat made A LOT of monumental mistakes with their cars here, specially the Marea Turbo (the owner's manual told you to change oil every 15.000Km, wich resulted in many seized engines in brand new cars) and the Tipo (wich would randomly caught on fire). But it also made AWESOME, very robust cars. The original Fiat Uno stayed in production for 30 years here, brilliant design from Giugiaro. The first Fiat to be produced here, the 147 (based in the italian 127), was the first car in Brazil with independent suspension on all 4 wheels, transverse engine, it was also the first production car to run on Ethanol (Alcohol), and much more. Many models (at least the successful ones) and engines are first designed and tested here, then shipped to the rest of the world, because as our roads and gasoline are dreadful, if a car survives in Brazil, it will survive anywhere else in the world. These modern 3 cylinder engines from Fiat, VW, Peugeot, etc, were all designed here. Also, many brazilian-spec Fiats are more powerful and overall better than the Euro-spec ones, like the Uno Turbo, Tempra, Stilo, Marea. Some models are specific to our market, and weren't exported back to Italy, like the Pick-up Toro, Fiat Mobi (main rival of the VW UP), Argo, Cronos, and the New Uno (re-styled Panda).
had a spyder in mind but for a few years the family is still too big , so got a 500 trecking plus (dealer car loaded) for the same price of a base model, had a few miles on it
I am Proud owner of Fiat Punto Evo 2014 version best car ever bought no problems till date done 206411 miles in my car in India no one near to Fiat in Safety as tank, ride quality handling, power Even vw is 2nd Fiat Punto Abarth 145 bhp only hatch in country for normal family guy that produce massive 145 bhp 212 nm torgue with 1200 kgs Weight Fiat in India made thier cars with High strength tensile steel that weigjt too and safe too much Vw polo that had 105 bhp of power vs Punto Abarth polo weight 1150 kgs Here is polo 190 hp polo also but that car too much expensive you can buy a Mercedes hatch cheaper than polo 190 hp
Me too, and I'm from Brazil. The Uno was sold in the whole world... except for North America. They never got their hands on this awesome little car. ;)
Fiat avoids electric shift because they are scared of accepting the change because they feel that cars may not sell as much as they are being sold currently
Fiat also manufacture vans, trucks, railway engines and rolling stock, boat and large ship engines and power stations. Not sure Gucci was worth a mention really….
In US this brand has not had the kind of respect they enjoy in Europe and South America. In Canada Toronto I remember seeing a lot of Fiat taxis so brand is big there as well.
Fiat all the way over a Mini Cooper. I'm in the process of purchaseing a 2015, 500 Sport for my spouse. I did alot of research on both cars. The 500 is the clear winner! Les expensive to purchase and much less expensive to maintain. The Cooper's are much, much more expensive in both purchase price and cost of maintenance.
I think if I could, I would prefer the Fiat 500 E electric car. I cannot understand with such a high demand for the electric vehicles these days and with Europe phasing out the internal combustion engine, why the technical R&D Department doesn't develop a more profitable vehicle. It's no wonder why Fiat is struggling in today's economy.
James Morris fiat struggle because it produced for a long period cheap cars (from 60es to 2000) to make money from "poor" people (factory workers,...). Now it isn't anymore like that. Check out the latest fiat, would you compare it to a cheap suzuki or a daihatsu? Well, many people think it's akways the same and go for a cheaper one. Also in italy it doesn't have a good market, you can always hear a lot of rumors about fiat, but in my life I've never seen something broken in a fiat (except the clutch of my mother panda after 2 months of my bad driving as a learner), while I own an aygo and just after a little gas you can hear it sucks without the turbo

This makes me proud to be Italian
yes, you have a lot to be proud of...Italian cars are absolutely beautiful
We want a better future for fiat.
(Feel bad that it failed in America)
I prefer the Fiat over the Mini. I hear that Minis are junk, but thats what people say about Fiats.
Yeah Minis aren't bad but Fiat is just cooler
When i was 18 i had a Fiat 127 spesial 1977, and it was so great fun to drive. It gave me a good feeling every time i drove it for two years. Finally... now 24 years later, the feeling is back with my Fiat 500 twinair. I think its love..

Been driving a 2104 500L for a month now. Fantastic driving car. Feels like a go kart with that 1.4L Turbo!

Don´t judge but FIAT is my favourite car manufacturer in terms of design. I love FIAT´s designs, especially the cars from 90s and 2000s (yes, even the Multipla...quite).

Fiat only bought all these american brands because while the whole world was drowning in the 2008 crisis, the brazilian division was making so much money, they didn't know what to do with it. hahah

James Morris with the new 500 (2019/2020 i guess) they will introduce a global 500e
