Who the hell would think this is a Tokyo Ghoul when team RWBY clearly looks like salem (also this is reminds me of the grimverse versions of team RWBY)
My headcanon for this is, after everything they've gone through. Team RWBY has just snapped, not gone evil. Just maverick. Between Ozpin's puppeteering, Ironwood, Cinder, Salem and everything else. They're just like "Nope, we're done being pawns. We're doing things our way now." And end up doing something similar to the Vizards from Bleach with Grimm powers. Now They're on their own working to stop Salem AND Ozpin, and succeeding. They've come to realize, yea Salem was in the wrong for trying to overthrow the gods. But the Brother Gods mucked up. And thanks to them, countless people suffered for it. So they shouldn't come back to Remnant, this isn't their creation anymore. They've moved past that. They have no right to meddle in the affairs of humans and Faunus after the suffering they caused. And Team RWBY has realized that, it's time for human and Faunus to step up and change things for themselves. They're working for a better tomorrow, because they've seen what it's like to suffer. And they don't want that for others. And Ironwood and Ozpin are just making things worse.
"And so the ancient Hunter rose, forgotten and long since dead, yet his duty was not yet finished. Darkness had consumed this world, a plague that he had no intention of letting spread. With his knowledge of what occured in Yharnem, he refused to let another reality fall to the Old Ones' schemes. So rise, dear hunter, rise and strike down evil yet again. That happen in my AU marvel crossover. Team rwby corrupt by Grimm viruses. (Like how captain America was infected by the red skull circus) and start killing innocent people. But Spider-Man,human torch,the thing, and captain America found a way toe cured them.

The dark liquid passing through his throath, offering warmth among the freezing atmosphere. The Workshop, once stood proud. And now, covered on hungering flames, burning everything, every memory, destroying every weapon, melting any chemical and soon faded unto nothingness. Only ashes. And yet, the Old Hunter didn't seem phased. Merely annoyed at the flames. He has done this before. Again and again. A endless loop. The moon was on it's high point, showering it's silver light. The white flowers were dancing by the gentle breeze. He watched for a moment, how the leafs and petals danced around, then fell silently. *"I doesn't matter. The kingdom always recall huntmen to cleaning out this type of messes."* He put the mug down. Still warm and half empty. He raised from his chair, grabbing his cane with him. Like an old friend, never away from his side. And muted golden hues gazed down at the four. His students. His mistakes. His responsabalities. Ozpin took a step foward and brandished his scythe from the cane. *"Tonight, the Headmaster, joins the hunt."*

We know Ruby is the legendary Silver eye warrior, but those transitions between normal and grim look so good. It made me think that what if Ruby is a Rogue Grim fighting for good.

The syncing to the opening piano, actually all the instrumental syncing, but especially the opening back and forth shifting and the spinning transitions after are absolutely glorious
Ok you seriously need to stop being good at what you do, this was just a complete spectacle to watch and I really love the use of clips from RWBY that aren’t used very often. The Salem design on the main RWBY cast was also a very nice touch, Apo is it ok to say that I love your work and you are by far on of the best Amv makers out there ❤️

Picture this. Volume 9. Rwby beats Salem, but we don’t see the final blow. In the end credit scene, we see Salem’s body was destroyed, but she “infected” rwby, and they are all Salem’s hosts. And if they do some fusion thing, they can bring Salem’s body back. So volume 10 and maybe 11 is JNR, Oscar, and whoever survived this long finding out something wrong and trying to save them without Salem finding out
or she gives ruby the same corruption as she falls as one final screw you to oz and the gods. and ruby's allies have a civil war moment over whether to shelter and help her stay good or improsin/kill her with the last scene having her and penny who's also an outsider to to her circumstances disappearing in the night with ruby's future and path ambiguous.

Salem is a headmistress. Mix of comedy, horror and romance. "Saleum is the actual protagonist"... closest things I have found is RWBY:Dark, basicaly turn the moral aligment of major characters and here you go: Rwby and Yang, Huntress and the Hound. There is fan art of Grimm versions of the RWBY girls grimmverse I think it was. honestly it would be awesome if they did something like this in the show where they have to fight Grimm copies of themselves that prays on thier inner demons and thoughts bleach style (and yes there is a crossover fan art of rwby and bleach with hollow masks)

Personally a way to make ruby a deeper character and me to take better interest into her would be one of these two things. Either during an attack on atlas , ruby gets infected by a Salem-created slow-working virus that turns humans into deadly Grimm, that retain all the skills and semblances they had in life, over a long period of time and a large part of the upcoming volumes is the others trying to find a cure while ruby starts to becomes more and more deranged and violent. Option 2 would be to make it so the disease is genetic from her mother. This would add deeper meaning into summer roses death where summer knew she was infected and was going on missions much more frequently and using her cape to cover it up until that last mission where the transformation completed and she turned against a fellow huntsperson(probably qrow) and had to be put down. The Grimm part of her body faded and summers dead body was left to be carried back home to be buried and to leave ruby without any info about her genetic condition.

They tried to resist the corruption but it was usless the corruption has taken control of most of team rwby except for ruby herself.

Suddenly the screaming stopped
Salem came out of the darkness
Salem: now rise my hunteresses.
All of team rwby rised their eye black with red pupils turned from the light to the dark.
They got on their knees and sayed: we are ready to serve you master( with an evilish tone )
Salem: oh my dear sweet girl i have many plans for you.
