I remember when they played the free show at Cypress College right about the time this video debuted. So cool to see such an amazing group with the local style making it "big". Too bad they went downhill so quickly after the fame and fortune.
I clicked on this video while my RUclips playback speed setting was still set to 1.5x from the previous video I had just been watching and I didn’t even realize at first that the song that began to play here was not at normal speed. I can’t say I was disappointed at the uptempo sound that began to fill my ears with such delightful rhythm. 😊 Now, I think I’ll go play it at normal speed just to see what it was supposed to sound like.

:28, I have those boots. Had a kool moment with em once. The moment woulda fit in with the swank feel of this tune and vid. Workin on a movie, they were filming 2 different scenes on the same soundstage. The other scene (the one I wasn't involved in) was a bunch of shots they needed of a drummer doing his thing. Insert shots mostly. When they needed a shot of the drummer pounding out the beat with the foot pedal the director and wardrobe guy didn't like the drummers shoes. The director asked the wardrobe guy "what do we need?", looking and pointing at me, sitting there laid back slouching in a chair like a 50's punk, the wardrobe guy said, "those". Without missing a beat I said quietly, "What's it worth ta ya?" A small moment in time that I'll never forget. This tune brought it back. (They had me do it. Took two minutes. :) )
