If Y’all Buy The Apollo You Can Bypass The Preamp And Use The Avalon Plugin That The Creator Of The Apollo Twin Has They Go On Sale Pretty Often I Recommend For A Sale I Would Get The 1073, The Avalon and The Tube Tech Compressor It’s Basically Modeling The Real Hardware But It’s Digital
what does he use to make the beats just using his keys on his computer ? like the videos he used to post on ig of making beats just pressing a key and a drum for example would play
From what I’ve seen from clips he has been using a lot of the Soundtoys plugins like little alter boy to do them under the water muddy kind of effects. Hope that helps 👍
Russ has Street cred here in ATL don’t matter where he was raised he stayed in ATL Longer and we consider him an ATL Rapper in Zone 3! You seem like a hater Fan Boy
Why didn't Russ keep his original setup? There are some many layers to this music business,If you think your gonna buy a Focusrite solo interface plus $100 mic and think you're gonna blow up! NOT that easy!
If the music is good (as in it speaks to people) it will. One of the most popping artists in Germany records everything himself and he's not a Finneas type genius but just a skater who loves to smoke and the technicalities are an afterthought. It's about the vibe. And that's true. Of course if you want to upgrade go ahead. But the focusrite setup with a rode nt1a or something will get you anywhere. Room treatment is important but it's about vibe and your ear not about equipment. Of course if you want to have a specific sound like the Fairchild compressor sound you have to buy a plugin or something but Russ didn't blow up because of equipment but because of experience and his trained ear. Some thoughts. Much love from Germany
@@rizzyinstrumentals Who's the rapper? I'm an American in Germany but my son put me on to German hip hop. I've heard a lot of dope stuff over the past 4 years so I'm always looking for more rappers/singers.
@@canguskahn the guy I meant is Makko .. I’m not the biggest fan actually.. but if you care for some recommendations here they come: Rin - Eros (Album) dropped in 2018 and is one of the best most important hip hop albums in Germany If you’re into old school stuff I’d recommend Haze Shindy is dope af.. braggadocious style and visuals and he works with OZ a lot who also produces for Drake and Jack Harlow Yung Hurn changed the game and keeps reinventing himself Reezy is amazing as well And my favorite is ufo361 .. his biggest influence is future (they also have a collab) .. so you maybe have a rough idea what to expect.. but yeah watching his progression was amazing and still is. Love My Life is an incredible album by him. I thought of something else as well. They’re responsible for a lot of hits.
Russ is one of my favorite artists for the last 5-7 years now!
The Guy is a Big Inspiration, thank you for the whole breakdown on how to really become a Rapper, so many RUclipsrs don't go this deep
Thank you for the feedback 🙏🏼
TLM 103 is my fav mic so far!!! I've ditched the AKG XL II and the Shure SM7B for the Neumann clean crisp sound!!!!!!
Pls keep posting a video like this. As a rapper who dream on having a home studio I need a video to watch like this to motivate a bit.

He uses the musical typing feature on his MacBook that turns the keyboard into a piano.
What plugins does he use for melodies
From what I’ve seen from clips he has been using a lot of the Soundtoys plugins like little alter boy to do them under the water muddy kind of effects. Hope that helps 👍
