We tell all of our clients to expect a timeline as follows in a perfect world. After slab 12 weeks (3 months) to predrywall. After drywall five months to close. At this time, we are seeing about 10 months for the entire build without major delays. There is usually about four months from contract to the start of the build. All of these times are general estimates which is why LMHH is now saying the build time is between 14 and 18 months.
That I am not sure about. But, I do know that the City must inspect before building starts so it's definitely not the next day. We usually see the trusses and wood packages within a couple weeks from the foundation being poured.
You would need to check with Watersound but it is my understanding that Watersound is built like Hilton Head. It is wood construction whereas Daytona is block. So they may be different there.
When the gentleman was talking about the cable installation, he mentioned Comcast twice. Is Comcast available in Latatude Margaritaville? I am on the wait list now!
Because this is the lowcountry. Meaning that we are at or below the sea level in most places. Basements don't make sense here due to how wet the ground can be if you try to dig a basement. :-)
Good explanation o the building process

I had heard the Daytona area
houses were built of concrete block, but it doesn't appear so in this video.
Thank you for doing this video. Do they do the cables in Watersound too for hurricanes?

after sheet rock is installed,on average how long does it take to complete the build.
A good rule of thumb is 5 months from drywall. Of course, it is dependent on delays but closing are usually 5 to 6 months from predryall.

In Margaritaville Hilton Head, the cable choices are Spectrum and Hargray. Comcast is available in GA I believe but not in this area.
Why aren’t there any cellars?

@@TheYostGroup Then, how can you have inground pools? So there’s no way to insert a plastic like tub into the ground with supports?
