Its the players' positioning and then P1 is holding sprint as well. It is possible to play without sprinting if court positioning is good. Look at Fed, he's the AI, seems to be on amateur level because he's positioning is quite bad giving P1 the advantage
19:23 is so real...that is how exactly Federer plays that shot...the curve of ball is exactly how it comes. Keep on improving this game and I am sure this game can be legendary
with its issues I still think its better than AO Tennis tbh, Big Ant should stick to Cricket and Rugby League games.... I dont like the animations and pace of the game with AO Tennis.

If I had to bet the future of tennis games on console I'd learn more to TWT they've got preparation and the mental aspect of tennis in concept. Just got get it polished right that's all. You must position yourself and time it right, when you do, you han actually hit it with decent power and get a winner..but yeah sometimes the rallies can be too long. AI is much better..aces should be easier.
We're seeing improvements in each and every game play but ...here are the areas where I think they should work on Improvements required: 1.Service pronation of the players 2.stance of waiting for the service should be changed w.r t the player 3.main thing is Sounds of those shots were very pathetic should be changed to realistic sounds(even tennis elbow2013) has done a great job here 4.chair umpire calls should be realistic (tennis elbow 2013 is ahead again here) 5.movement of the players should be lil bit of accurate . 6. Kokkinakis is so ridiculously good it's shameful. While attacking he shoots like he's prime Tsonga and when defending he runs like he's frigging Nadal, pretty much unbeatable! The game is decent, except the times when the opponents are somewhat rollerblading from one side to the other and getting every single ball
Its not ramdom, its everytime you press top spin button with the correct body and feet position. Otherwise it will hit with simple stroke. Its realistic in my opinion.

I mean, I guess I could get the devs just not being competent enough to bring the gameplay to acceptable standards, but then why can't they at least improve immersion ? - The sound effects are still dreadful - Player's faces had more expressions in Top Spin 4 eight years ago - All players have the exact same body type (those goddamn frog legs...) - Barely any signature shots I was getting optimistic after the april patch but now I'm not so sure. If they were okay to repackage the game in this sorry state, maybe they just don't care.

Agreed! Signature style (HUGE one for a good tennis game), shot selection and a tad better movement and this game look almost polished. They didn't have a bad idea at all you know.

I feel the serve speed was a bit of an issue from the AI players, always seemed way too slow.
