2. Across the Clouden Peaks

This is a song from an upcoming synth album I'm working on: "The Tower of the Necromancer".
It tells a story of a young mage looking for revenge, their target, a necromancer shut off in his dark tower. The album will tell the mages' journey and the outcome.
Young mage made it to the flying transit city, they spend their days working as a powdersmith under a gnomish Engineer-lord, to pay the travel fees. After work, exhausted, all they do is observe the clouds above and beneath them, before the dreams of childhood take them away, from the sorrow of loss.
