This version has been developed by Palma, Suky and Felixls.
The programmer is fully compatible with Microchip's PICKit 2 v2.61 program and the MPLAB IDE since the firmware loaded on the PIC is the one developed by Microchip. The devices supported by the programmer are:
PIC10F (DIP8)
PIC12F (DIP8)
PIC16F (DIP14, 18, 20, 28, and 40)
PIC18F (DIP18, 20, 28, and 40)
dsPIC30F (DIP28 and 40)

hello! if you have another programmer eg JDM Programmer or you can borrow someone else's programmer. You can also send the firmware file to the seller of the 18f2550 microcontroller and tell them to program it for you.
