- Some old footage of my MIKROGEOPHAGUS RAMIREZI GERMAN BLUE on my 90cm River Stream - 5 months after rescape.
Unfortunately, I don't have those Ramirezi anymore, they passed away, but they left an amazing generation (my own breeding) that soon will added to this layout after be rescaped! Stay tuned ;-)

Those were definitely the most protective parents and sexual active from all the Ramirezi I had in my life.
This is why I was able to breed them and soon the breeding will come to main tank.

This one is running for a while and I still have it, unfortunately the rams died, it was expected because when they are sexualy active, the most we can get is 24 months... But I have the ones from breeding and soon they will come to this tank in a different scape.

Those were the most colorful Ramirezi I ever had... But their kids are really close.
I'm pretty sure will be very similar to those.

Still the nicest GBR I’ve ever seen. I send anyone interested in the fish to your channel just to show what a perfect ram looks like! And I’ve bred them for a few years, but never had any quite as nice. Stunning.
I bred them too and very soon they will be moved to the 90cm tank, but first I need to rescape it to get a bit more of space. 👌

Os bichos (Ramirezis) estão mesmo espetaculares!!!!! Fiquei com saudades de os ter 🙂... não há dúvida que um bom ambiente no aquário proporciona uma saúde excepcional à fauna, resultando em cores fantásticas!
Sem dúvida. E os peixes demonstram melhores cores do que água e vidros ou então apenas areia...

Beautiful …they are so big and colourful what kind of food do you use ?
I only use dry food. At the moment I'm giving to my rams Oase granulate color.

If you have a big colony of shrimps, they will breed to fast, more they can eat... Big Caridina japonica has no problem.

Não é fácil... Até porque muitas das vezes quando os compramos são pequenos e não mostram grande cor.
Mas com água de qualidade e boa comida, acho que mesmo que não atinjam estas cores, não deixam de ser peixes incríveis.
@@FAAOAquascaping sim, tenho no comunitário uns blue orange head, mas comprei recentemente um “casal” mas não chegam aos calcanhares desses do vídeo… mesmo já adultos, nunca vi em portugal, daí estar a perguntar onde adquiriu porque é uma especie que gosto bastante, quer pelas cores, quer pelo seu comportamento

No, those are the parents. The breeding is still in the kitchen tank. They will be moved to this tank after rescape, that will be very soon. 😉

Muito fácil. Desparasitar, não adicionar constantemente fauna ao aquário, boa filtragem e boa comida. 😉

Não há essa necessidade, os Ramirezi dão-se bem entre pH 6.5 a 7.5.
Desde que sejam bem ambientados, não há qualquer problema.

Dou sempre granulado. De momento estou a dar OASE color para peixes pequenos porque assim dá para todos os peixes e os rams não gostam muito de comida grande.

@@tadcsds os meus talvez por estarem habituados a granulado não pegam em flocos, por isso cuidado ao escolheres a comida da OASE porque tens a color nos 2 tipos 😉

your garras don't jump? lost mine just the other day... thought I was an idiot for putting him in a rimless aquarium lol.
Not really. Be sure you have your lights dimming when they start and shutdown. Most of the fish jump when they get frightened by sudden movements or light being interrupt very fast.
