As someone who has autism and often has trouble speaking, I appreciate Wardell. I often feel like people pressure me to talk more which is really uncomfortable for me, and it's often really hard to do, so I appreciate whenever I see an NPC in a game that doesn't say much, even if they weren't really meant to represent verbal struggles. Plus he's shaped like a friend, it's hard not to love Wardell! Edit: I'm so happy to see so many people who think similarly and who also can relate to this, it feels really warming to see such an open minded community that's so supportive!

Actually I *do* think Wardell was created with the idea of being selectively mute. It also feels like he talks specifically because the player keeps interacting with him,and not because he wants to speak per sé. Once I'll get the DLC I'm just gonna talk with him once a day to vibe and then leave him alone so he doesn't get uncomfortable :)

Eventually you get to use your own ideas, partitions, soundscapes, lighting colours, and choose your flooring ammount! If I could summarise it in one sentence : It’s a once-in a lifetime experience, and probably the best update ANCH has even had.
I literally was like “I’m not playing the dlc right away”… so I waited 5 hours to play and started while I waited to go pick up the series 5 amiibos lol

I'm honestly in love with the fact there's a RUclipsr playing this that doesn't take up every little space in the yard and house with furniture and florals. Just keeping it easy and simple.
The funnest part of this game is when the curated items tell a story and inspire you. I worked on Eloise's room for a bit and love how it turned out. My first villager Poppy visited just I unlocked partitions and I was able to use them with an accent room to make it look she had her door open with a mountain view. Having so much fun with the dlc and update.
The trio of Lottie, Wardell and Niko is amazing, wonderful chemistry, probably my favorite characters in AC. They actually feel like they have life, they're all friends working together and even small things like Niko daydreaming to be a traveler too. it's all amazing
when i did Eloise's home, i decorated it for an HOUR and there's still things i want to add to it. some of the clip scenes it shows of her in her house were so cute! i added a tea table and it showed her sitting at it drinking coffee, and n another scene she was sat on her rocking chair reading! Eloise is so cute i want her on my island!
That’s how I feel about all the houses I decorated so far lol! I’ve spent so long on them but there’s still so much I’d like to add, especially as I unlock more and more :)

I was customizing furniture last night at Harv's island and I was so happy when I realised that you can customise other than just the stuff bought with nook miles! It makes my life so much easier!! I'm even more in love with this game!! Aahhh!!!

Fun fact: if u have the amibos of the older ac characters (that aren’t in the dlc) u can invite them to the caffe and they have NEW DIALOGUE…. For example if u invite Phylis then even Peter might come and if u invite anyone from kappn’s family the WHOLE FAMILY WILL COME. And they have lots of new dialouge. Yes you need the amibo for this but they can walk in randomly as well. That will need pAtIEncE and a lot of it but it will happen.
It’s funny to me that it took me like 3 houses to realize the first page of furniture is just suggested and not all the options available 😂🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️ this dlc is so much fun!
Every day you come back, wardell will start to bond with you! (like sable) and when he trusts you, you get a cutscene where you sit with wardell and talk ITS ADORABLE!
I love this DLC not too long ago i finished my 10th house! And I only did 1 joke house because Lionel wanted a "Restroom refuge" and the keyword he gave was "toilet", so I filled the house with toilets.
I would love to see more hhp videos from you. Your creativity is perfect and unlike a lot of other videos I’ve watched you actually took your time to design and actually did things the villagers like.
I love the dlc its awesome i can see myself playing for a while but i kinda also feel that i would get a little tired doing the same thing over again for a while but its so adorable so that would keep me going

I'm glad this is exactly like in happy home designer, but it takes me about and hour to decorate one house, and the outside as well. You get more items the more you decorate and I kinda forgot about that when I invited Bob and I didn't get to give the type of furniture I would've wanted. He wanted a greenery house or something so I'll probably won't invite my favourite villagers just yet until I get more items!

I think you have to tell the villager you're done inside the house for the inside cinematic at the end 💕 loved the video, the little bathroom was to die for!

I'm glad this is exactly like in happy home designer, but it takes me about and hour to decorate one house, and the outside as well.
You get more items the more you decorate and I kinda forgot about that when I invited Bob and I didn't get to give the type of furniture I would've wanted. He wanted a greenery house or something so I'll probably won't invite my favourite villagers just yet until I get more items!
I got this because I used to have the old happy home designer and in that game we even got to make a cute little house for lottie! I'm so happy she's back
