I felt like if I had the chance to talk with him, I could have helped. This song is my doing that for whoever needs it. I've experienced some very low lows in my life. This song is me sitting with you and saying - you're going to make it through the dark. There's always a way, and you'll find it. 💀☁️

So many times I've felt like I'm drowning and going down that spiral of depression... the reason behind you writing this song is one thing I've struggled with since I was a child... at 30 I still have suicidal thoughts a few times a month. It isn't every day or bad enough to make me act on it like I used to.... my 12 year old son's best friend had a girlfriend who committed suicide last month. 2 weeks later, his friend took his own life. Thank you for writing music to give people HOPE. To remind them they can find a way, they can make it through, they are good enough. We can't save those already lost, but we can do our best to help save the ones we might not have in the near future.

I've been working so much overtime. I'm the only one who can do my job and I'm completely exhausted. This is reminding me to not let work consume my life. I need to breathe through this and find a way to do things for me in my free time. I am good enough. I am needed. I am valuable.

I've come to know the struggle pretty well early on in life, so I'm not looking at it as a catastrophic failure, but as an opportunity. I have an amazing superpower to wake up and still find something good to say about my existence, even when it looks like bullshit to everyone else. Like you say, I can make sugar out of bullshit. So bring it on, sticks. I was told recently by a family member who tried to tear me apart for asking if they needed any work done. I was told that I needed to fix myself, which would imply that I'm broken which I'm not. I like who I am, and if you saw where I was back fhen, anyone would say I'm better off anyways. Please keep shoving those lyrics out, it almost feels like you've seen my soul and you write about what was there. I definitely see now that my troubles are not unique, and we're not alone. Thanks 🖤

I struggle with my mental health. Ups and downs (I am bi polar/BPD) so much trauma.. sometimes my head tells me all of these things.. I work really hard to love me. My boyfriend knows this and watches my highs and lows. He showed me this song. I instantly cried after the first verse because I am good enough for me. I love me. I’ve worked hard for self love when I once hated even looking at myself in the mirror.. thank you for writing something so vulnerable. Thank you for sharing your pain and your growth. Keep doing what you do because you are impacting people everyday. People like me. 💜
