Sheri I always said your my one of my favorite story tellers. This is awesome. I love your videos too.
That’s one of the things I liked about your dad. His loyalty was only to Elvis. He didn’t take stuff from Priscilla or anyone else. I feel sure your dad was one of the very few who Elvis would actually listen to for advice or confide in. That kinda friend is so hard for men to have. My husband (rip) had a friend like that. That’s blessing. Sheri you look great and im so glad your doing this. I’m enjoying the videos so much. I want to hear a story about how you and some of Elvis country people stayed in the barn at circle G. I heard it mentioned once but not anything after.
I also loved what your dad told him after the 68 special. Your dad told it on a video once. It was that friend to friend honesty that helped Elvis at a stressful time right when Elvis needed it. Elvis thanked him for what Marty said to him.

One time my wife and I were going to Tunica Mississippi we live about 200 miles away and we would go down highway 302 and we were wright in front of circle G ranch but we did not know it at the time we never had heard of circle G ranch and for some reason I felt something come over me about Elvis I said to my wife I wonder if Elvis ever rode his motorcycle through her because Graceland wasn't that far away and about a year later I found out about the circle G ranch and we were wright in front of it when the feeling of Elvis popped in my head . Strange.

Thank you for sharing this, Sheri! I went to Circle G Ranch last year and walked around the front part of it where the house is and part of the back of it where the land is spread out. I so wanted to see the cross but it was too far out. Maybe I'll try to the next time I go to Memphis.

I actually talked to Patsy Lacker about the ranch. Her favorite memories were the Sunday pot luck dinners with all the families together.
