- PART3 of 3. Jo and Billy Smith talk about what it was like to be an inner circle member of the Elvis world, and especially what it was like to be a wife and mother and family within that circle of friends and family.
I think Lisa would benefit from having the love and support from Elvis’s side of the family But she has been Away from the family for so long that she deals with things The way Priscilla has taught her which is on her own. It is so sad that she doesn’t reach out to her dad’s family.
They are too busy living wrapped in the left wing BS and Scientology

@@michelleevans4948 I've been thinking about that since her passing and like SO many things, I question if it was truly a bad attitude, or what Priscilla convinced her of. If you watched the Oprah interview, Lisa kept saying how bad she was, and each time turned to her Mom for approval. it was very sad IMHO. Also, as we all found out, Cilla literally threw her out as a young teen and forced her to live IN that evil cult she belonged to. What Mother does that?? I think Lisa had a good heart, and a lot of bad information and treatment!

Umm… so sick of the Priscilla bashing. Lisa Marie said HERSELF in an interview that she didn’t want anything to do with the people around her father that not only did drugs with him but also wrote that book and promoted it. Billy Smith was unfortunately part of that group of men, be it family or not. Lisa made her own conclusions as she got older & no one would or could influence her otherwise. Priscilla has nothing to do with it.
Elvis is/was/and will always be the embodiment of the American dream. Billy knows more about Elvis Presley than anyone living today!!

What a remarkable series. It's precious that through Elvis you all became so close - family. With that being said, I am sad that Lisa and/or Priscilla choose not to include the Smith side. I have one opinion Avd that is Priscilla and Lisa are the ones missing out by staying close to all of you guys. It shows how much you all loved Elvis and genuinely cared. And I don’t think Gladys would be happy with this part of Elvis family being cut out. Gladys was all about family and so was Elvis. As I said just my opinion. Love you all. You are the best.

Sheri you are awesome. You remind me of your dad. He was a straight shooter and said what he thought even if other people didn’t like it. I’ve watched and read so much about Elvis’ life and the more you research the more you know these two were closest to Elvis the longest. Especially Billy. What a blessing to sit and listen to these two. Hugs. 💜
I’m so glad you did this three part video! I wish y’all would do more in telling the “truth” with the times you shared with Elvis and throughout his life. Many of us want to hear the honest versions, as most of us are tired of hearing the same ole sugarcoated stories.Those stories can only be sold so long and they’re way past their expiration date. Elvis died in 1977, not 1973 and not everyone was his “best” friend. . Elvis only had one brother too, his twin. Thanks again for doing this!

This was so lovely to see all of you together and in a sense you all grew up together as well as elvis and yes sometimes it wasn’t easy but the good times were more it is a shame that Pricilla and Jerry don’t keep in contact with you all but I suppose in life we all go in different directions keep up the great work that you are all doing stay safe

Sheri, you rocked it in this interview. One of the best yet. You touched on an area that I dont hear too much about, and that's Priscilla and Jerry. I wish for this topic again another day. Outstanding interview, and I was teary eyed when you and your sister thanked them for being your second parents. Please keep these interviews with the Smiths going. I’ve watched all the MMK videos and EFM videos and just subscribed to Sheri’s videos. I feel so much compassion, love, humor, and joy between your family I can’t image ANYONE not wanting to be apart of such a loving family. As far as being close to Elvis, I would think, Billy and when you, Jo, got with Billy, y’all were closer to Elvis than anyone. I believe in one of the videos it was said Billy moved to Graceland from the beginning and stayed with Elvis until he passed. He worked, prayed, played and everything in between that Elvis needed until death. Y’all would be the go to in my eyes. I don’t know? I’ve loved Elvis since I was a toddler and that’s not exaggerating. It seems you would love his extended family as you did him. Most of us long for that family bond. I hope nothing but blessings for your entire family and I feel so blessed to get to hear the stories you share and I will watch as long as you all post. Have a great week. The love BOTH my parents had for Elvis showed me my first glimpse of how special he is! .... Not was IS he will NEVER b forgotten that was one of his biggest fears being forgotten.,.. I love this channel. It's too bad that Lisa's daughters won't get the truth or share the memories of their grandfather with the Smith and Lacker families. Since my dad died I've lost all contact with my cousins.

He’s such a great person. His ex Wife Sandy and Priscilla were very close. So Elvis, Priscilla & Jerry, and Sandy would alway’s hang out and ride their horses together. They have a picture of the four of them in the mediation garden when Cilla had blonde hair. There’s pictures of them at Gladys’s grave. On their horses ect.

There was to be one person in the house available to Elvis on each shift. To my understanding of what Billy said is that Elvis would call the person if he needed something. He and his girlfriend at that time had gone to bed and so she was the only one in the room with him.

Elvis' will did not name Pris as ever to be in charge of his estate or legacy. A Memphis bank was named if Vernon could not do it. Vernon is the one who let Pris be involved. Strange (regardless that they had a child) for an EX to ever be in charge. Weird.
Elvis I believe had a sense that he was dying. Like his Mama Gladys. He never wanted to be alone, it makes me sick knowing that Elvis died ALONE! I'm sorry but someone should have checked on him . I am not talking about y'all Billy and Jo . When my hunny wakes up and is in the bathroom longer than 10 mins I am knocking on that door.
But even if the smiths were asked to participate with epe and movies would they? Didn't they say in the past they wouldn't?
Priscilla knows you guys know the truth about her and Elvis relationship; the good, the bad, the ugly. it’s human nature to try to distance ourselves from those who have knowledge of the facts. What a huge loss for a little 9 yr old girl. You all could have been such a help and comfort to her and her children. I am sure that elvis would not have done that to priscilla's family if things had been in the reverse. Elvis would not be pleased that priscilla did not remain close with his family as his family meant everything to him. So very sad.❤

They do it too. They ALL make money off Elvis.
I think, as Sheri and Jo said, Priscilla "went Hollywood" after leaving Elvis. Jerry Schilling has long lived in California, in the house Elvis bought for him, rather than Memphis.
Pricilla doesn't want to share the spotlight, that's why she doesn't want Billy and Jo included in anything. She also is big on the money and has the fantasy going that it was a big love affair that kept going until he died. Everybody talks about she never remarried, She didn't want to lose the prestige of the Presley name pure and simple. She lived with Navarones father for 12 yrs and has been with an executive for the past 22 yrs. I know why Pricilla shunned Billy and Jo but Jerry was and is a shocker! He didn't appear to be that kind of guy, but you never really know people until it comes down to it. It's a shame because Jo and Billy are the best kind of friends you'd want!

So happy to hear the truth finally said…plain and simple. Priscilla wanted to be a star, lacked talent so she tried to capitalize on the Presley name. Even that didn’t help so she became entrenched in the cult Scientology. Millions of Elvis money went to this cult. Lisa is just another spoiled & screwed up Hollywood kid. Knowing the Smith family, her own family could have brought that girl down to earth. Such a loss for Lisa and her kids. I’m just an outsider but see it how it is. I agree ! Most of the early interviews that Priscilla did after Elvis died was to try to make Elvis look bad . I think that was because she wanted to be the star of the show and wanted all the attention. She talked about his cheating which was never proven except by her , but she admitted to cheating on him with his karate instructor. She wanted everyone to know she could cheat on a giant like Elvis and was proud of it , unless she was trying to make Elvis look bad and then she omitted her indiscretions from the conversation.
