- BioShock 2 any% speedrun performed on the original PC release of the game, not the remastered edition and the graphics are set to low because medium or high settings will crash the game pretty consistently.
Any% speedruns make use of the Splicer Surf glitch like in the 1st game. Killing a splicer while on top of their body will glitch out your hitbox and let you become part of the dead splicer's body. This combined with telekinesis means we can fly around and use the body to clip through walls/doors/floors.

3:07 I don't even know why you're not dead, you just got burnt 3 times while having 0 lifebar. WTF?
It's impossible to die in that section of the game because there are no vita-chambers in the area, so you can get down to 1hp but you'll never be able to die

Will the Bioshock Survivor glitch work with a PS4 Bioshock The Collection hard copy if played on PS5?
I've never tried it personally, so I can't say with 100% certainty but it *should* work. However, from what I've heard the collection/remastered versions make it much harder to pull off the splicer surfing because of how saving works (I'm assuming you mean the using telekinesis on a dead body trick).
In your opinion whats the best bioshock to run ? this is one of my favourite game series and i wantj to try and run one
BioShock 1 is probably the best way to get into running any of the games. 1 can be hard at times but there are a ton of older routes that aren't too much slower and a bit easier. Infinite isn't too bad but just has a lot of cutscenes/downtime. BioShock 2 has gotten a lot better as a speedrun but it's a pretty tough run to jump into
Hello, I'm curious about something. When protagonist first meets the big sister, after using electricity on water under her, I remember getting a glitch, where I rushed into her and used drill, which almost instantly depleted her health to the minimum, that game allows (something like 30% iirc), and that ended the sequence pretty quickly. That happened on high difficulty too, so it would surely work on lower one as well. So, I wonder, if this glitch still slower than waiting near the wall? Or it is unknown or hard to replicate?

@@BloodThunder hmm, ok, well, it happened about a year ago and I wasn't recording, so, I can only describe it in words - basically I used drilling attack on her, while she was stunned, and for some reason, game considered every "frame" of damage as either something else, or damage was multiplied very heavily because of the stun. Probably because stun was reapplied after every time she took damage. And it happened on PC Steam version.

yes, harvesting the sisters is faster. not only because you can harvest them on the spot, where as to save them you have to take them to a vent but they provide more adam which allows us to quickly all the plasmids/tonics we need for the run
